A Historic Estate Overlooking The Hudson
This historic hotel was once owned by two wealthy socialites—Anthony Joseph Drexel Biddle, Jr and his wife Mary Lillian Duke. Once called Linden Court, the estate rests on 26 beautifully manicured acres of land overlooking the Hudson river. Tarrytown House Estate & Conference Center features two mansions which have been preserved since the 1800’s.
The King Mansion, named after Thomas King who owned the estate in the early 1900s, houses 10 palatial Georgian style guestrooms. Each room is completely unique—from patios and balconies down to smaller details such as fabrics and furnishings. The Biddle Mansion holds several meeting rooms, two ballrooms, and fully restored rooms which were once Mrs. Biddle’s private music room, library, and garden room.
In total, Tarrytown House Estate & Conference Center offers guests 212 generously appointed guest rooms, a cozy dining venue in Cellar 29, numerous activities including indoor / outdoor pools, comprehensive fitness facility, outdoor tennis court, basketball court, and bocce court. Lastly, the properties IACC-certified conference center offers 30,000 square feet of meeting space fully-equipped with modern conference equipment.
