A very smart hotel

Sat Feb 15 2025 10:45:54 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) by Helen K

A very smart hotel. The staff were friendly, efficient and always willing to help. Our room was comfortable and cleaned daily. The buffet food was very good with a good variety of dishes. The pool areas were kept tidy but the water was rather chilly. We enjoyed our stay and would certainly recommend the hotel to future guests.

Lovely Hotel

Stayed here for a week earlier this month. Great hotel, very friendly staff, very clean throughout the hotel. Rooms cleaned daily. Beds really comfortable. Pool area lovely and kept very clean and tidy. Stayed half board, food was ok - there was always something to eat however could have been a bit more "exciting" evening meals on offer. My companion needed gluten free food and the staff did their best to accommodate her and explain what food was available for her. Breakfast had a good selection. Drinks were slightly on the expensive side and would have liked free water available in the evening. Used the spa and the girls were very friendly. Would definitely return.

My taste buds sent to Jail for a week ! Half board

Sat Oct 19 2024 08:27:43 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) by Mooreroom25

We arrived around 11. 45am local time, greeted with a smile and orange juice or a glass of water. The first question was what is your departure time next week ! Do you mind if we try to have a holiday please, I said we would get back to you. This was asked two more times in the end just made anything up , didn’t get the pick up time from Tui two days from the flight The room wasn’t ready so we had a drink at the bar no problem €70 Euro tourist charge, no problem, but what I do have a problem with is the lack of light to the beach, walking through the olive grove to the beach in fact it’s more like a building site at the end and no steps to the beach just landfill. We went back in the day and a man went flying down the drop and just managed to save himself. Come on build some steps out of the money or get the local community to get it sorted they must struggle the same way The food was bland almost because the hotel was closing for a refurbishment that they had given up , maybe it’s always like that Breakfast was yogurt & honey for me and toast and marmalade was the best way to go, filter coffee and tea as good The bacon, sausage and eggs were cold, the scrambled eggs were the same, French toast had a weird taste Evening meal was tasteless, the only thing that was worth having was a chicken curry in the whole week We went for to town twice and had two really nice Greek meals so it can be done €7 a pint and €5 euros for a Cappuccino, the pool bar was quiet for this reason the management need to lower the prices €9 for a Rum and coke €60 for a bottle of white wine ! For a €15 bottle of wine The town is half that, come on the hotel is 3 star, maybe the refurbishment will push that up The pool area is beautiful and and the lack of holiday vide killed it for me Shout out to Paul at the Pool bar he had a smile all the time and wished a safe journey home I’m glad we got a last minute deal but the we had to take half board, if you don’t want a evening meal you can have lunch at the hotel with 30% off The hotel wants to keep you there to trade up on drinks in the evening I wish you all the best Lesante Classic with your upgrade

A pleasant autumn break

Mon Oct 14 2024 07:09:48 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) by BobP258

This is our third visit to the hotel. As on previous occasions we received a warm and friendly greeting and had a lovely room overlooking the pool. The hotel facilities are well presented and the communal areas nicely laid out. The main restaurant is elegant and has a nice outside seating area, although in October the glass screens were in place due to the windy conditions at various times. All the staff are friendly and helpful and the rooms are spotlessly maintained by the house maintenance team. The hotel is also conveniently placed to the lively town centre, just a 15 min walk away. The shingle and sand beach is also just a 5 min walk away. Sadly, I have to say that since our first visit, the quality of the food, in the main restaurant, in the evening has gone down in our view and is just adequate and not up to standard expected for this level of hotel. Also there now seems to be no dress code and people in sleeveless vests/beach shoes were allowed to dine, again not what I expect from this level of hotel. Also, the price of drinks and snacks are still expensive compared with the local bars and restaurants just a 10 min walk away. Hence little atmosphere in the evenings as guests tend to go out. Overall though, we enjoyed our stay
