Our family had an absolutely exceptional experience at the French Lick Resort, staying at the West Baden Springs Hotel. My husband and I brought our kids for a getaway, and from start to finish the trip exceeded every expectation. At check-in, Haley at the front desk set the tone with her kindness and professionalism, and Heather went out of her way to make our children feel welcome and engaged. Throughout our stay, the staff at every level—from horseback riding to the arcade, bowling alley, and beyond—were simply outstanding. Every single person we encountered was friendly, attentive, and truly seemed to care about making our visit memorable. Even when a small issue came up, the way it was handled left us impressed. Michael, the manager on duty, personally stepped in and went above and beyond to make sure everything was resolved quickly and to our satisfaction. That level of attention and care is rare, and it made a huge difference in our stay. We also made nightly stops for ice cream at the West Baden shop, where we met Kim and her daughter, who were such a joy. Little moments like that really added to the warmth of the whole experience. Beyond the amazing staff, there was so much to do—horseback riding, games, shops, and even a fun little trolley to shuttle guests between the hotels and local spots. I even had the chance to sneak off to the casino for a bit of fun. The property itself is beautiful, full of charm, and offered incredible value for everything included. I can’t say enough good things about this resort. The people truly made it unforgettable, and we left already talking about when we could come back. Highly recommend the French Lick Resort and especially the West Baden Springs Hotel for families looking for a fun and memorable getaway with top-notch service.

From start to finish, our visit reflected a deep commitment to excellence. We dined at Ballard’s in the Atrium, where the food, atmosphere, and service were outstanding. We also thoroughly enjoyed the live music in both the Atrium and the Library, which added a unique and relaxing touch to our evenings. The Chuckwagon Dinner at the Stables was a highlight, creative, well-executed, and so much fun. And of course, the afternoon at the pool at French Lick was a perfect way to unwind. Every detail of our stay exceeded expectations, and it’s clear that the West Baden team is dedicated to creating a first-class experience. We’re already looking forward to returning around Christmastime, as we plan to gift our parents a trip to West Baden Springs to celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary. Thank you again for maintaining such high standards and for making our stay truly memorable.

Really wonderful historical hotel. The surrounding area is beautiful and there is plenty to do if you're a golfer or gambler. Stayed in a premium suite with one king bed and sitting room. Room was nice, but view was of the parking lot. Other than the valet who was friendly and helpful, service was pleasant, but primarily transactional. Food at the restaurant was delicious. If I return, I would definitely stay there again.

We enjoyed celebrating our 60th wedding anniversary at the hotel. We had previously stayed there for our 50th anniversary and we wanted to return. The hotel was just as enjoyable as before. We had a beautiful suite and delicious food. The grounds were lovely and the golf course was spectacular!
