I stayed 2 nights at the Rosen Center for a conference. Check-in was easy. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Shower area is a small room with the toilet and very poor lighting. Separate sink could also use more lighting. Bathroom decor is dated. Room coffee is terrible with powdered creamer. Yuck. And only one packet of regular coffee for 2 people. There are several restaurants on property. Food in the restaurants was average. Pool area is nice but was already closed at 8pm. Overall a good stay for a conference. Otherwise, I would not stay here. .

Everyone was over the top kind and gracious. If we needed something like extra towels, toilet tissue, etc it was brought within minutes to our room. Beds were super comfy. The restaurants were wonderful and the food was very good. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner. Dinner was a buffet and the price was $24.97 and included dessert (yummy desserts like very good cheesecake, etc), different kinds of fish each night, shrimp cocktail, beautiful salad bar and also included a non alcoholic beverage and coffee if you wanted that with dessert. It was over the top fabulous. We went to a few off site resturants in the area and the Rosen Center by far was much better than those over priced resturants. We were there for a convention and the walk is easy and goes straight into the convention center. Parking is easy. It maybe a little more money but for the convenience of staying close to the convention center we thouroughly enjoyed our stay. Rooms were very clean and the towels were not cheap. Beautiful pool area, lobby etc.

Manager Wendy is incompetent and unable to deal with a complaint regarding the “hotel” shuttle That did not arrive. Refused any help at all and point blank denied the shuttle was the hotels. It’s all over their website!

12 times in Florida - Villas and hotels. 3rd time in Idrive - 2 times prior to this at Rosen inn plaza. Much easier as just the three of us now. This hotel is very busy but it’s big enough not to feel cramped. The public areas were immaculate. The rooms are slightly dated but very clean, big and comfortable. The pool felt busy during peak times but you were always able to get a seat and the pool bar served good food. The gym was dated but had enough kit for a sweat on. The coffee shop, breakfast buffet and on site shop were comfortable but pricey. Some staff were happy and smiley others were miserable as sin - same as everywhere. 10 mins in LYFT to universal and 20 to Disney. Overall I’d have no problem coming back to this hotel. I felt safe and comfortable and although it’s a 20 minute stroll to the better locations (pointe) I’d pick this over other Rosens on Idrive. This is a business / conference hotel so there are big groups of travellers together. You have to pay a bond when you check in - a week later and I have not had it back yet so just be aware of that as it was not advertised through our agent. We paid $250
