HISTORIC GRANDEUR — AND LEGENDARY DUCKS — IN MEMPHIS dining

Chez Philippe – The only restaurant in the region to earn a Forbes Four-Star and AAA Four Diamond rating, Chez Philippe is ornate and elegant, with golden columns and fresco paintings. Executive chef Andreas Kisler serves classics such as pork á l’orange, seared scallops, and crab cakes, plus a refined English afternoon tea.

Capriccio Grill – Start the day with a Duckmaster’s Breakfast in this casual eatery, stop by at lunchtime for classic Southern shrimp and grits, or round off an evening with a succulent steak. On Sundays, linger over brunch with eggs benedict, smoked salmon, and Champagne.

Peabody Deli & Desserts – Grab a coffee and a pastry from Peabody Deli & Desserts, or brighten up your afternoon with a zesty lemon meringue pie. Coffee is complimentary before 9 am.

The Lobby Bar – Situated at the heart of the Grand Lobby, this is one of the best places to soak up the unique atmosphere of The Peabody Memphis — and it gives you a front-row seat for the march of the Peabody ducks. Order a Peabody Old Fashioned or private-label wine, sit back, and enjoy.

Peabody Corner Bar – Sip a signature Jack Daniel’s Peach Sour in this casual, cozy bar, popular for after-work cocktails. Enjoy live music on Fridays and Saturdays.

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Peabody Hotel. The facilities were excellent, and my room was spotless and well-organized. The hotel's central location made it easy to explore Memphis. The staff was incredibly helpful and friendly, creating a welcoming atmosphere. The lively vibe in the lobby added to the overall great experience. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Memphis!

Shocking Fraternity Party venue!!

Tue Aug 05 2025 19:44:41 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) by Brian D

What they don’t tell you is that the first weekend in August they host a massive Pike University fraternity conference. The hotel staff could not care less when you are kept awake from the ensuing parties. Three nights of interrupted sleep, raising this with the staff each day did not result in a change. The ‘boys’ gleefully carried bottles to their room stating ‘we’re trying to get as drunk as possible before dinner’. Gave you say they certainly did!! Even calling security at 2am did not yield a long term change. The staff even stated that our opinions and comfort did not matter as the conference was in and they come every year. We continually attempted to speak to someone other than the desk staff but emails, phone calls and in person requests were all ignored. Obviously Pike University is valued more than anyone else.

Our favorite Romantic Getaway Staycation Hotel

Sun Aug 03 2025 19:38:49 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) by brianneprentice

Every year for my birthday, my husband takes me downtown for a nice dinner, dancing at the Rumba Room and to stay at the Peabody. We stayed here for our wedding night, so it's always a special place for us. It's always so lovely to come back. They had just renovated our room on the 7th floor and it was gorgeous! The concierge told us that they had just closed the roof and 12th floor for renovations too, so I can't wait to go back and see what they have improved after it's done. The beds are always comfortable and Feather's Spa can't be beat. The masseuses are all great at Feather's, but Ishmael is my favorite anywhere I've been.

Usually A Nice Stay

Sun Aug 03 2025 17:08:41 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) by 49ll

Have visited The Peabody Hotel several times. Beautiful lobby! The ducks are always fun to watch. The Lobby Bar is always a great way to lose a bit of time and make new acquaintances. The best bar staff. The Duck march is a must see. Summer Rooftop parties are hit & miss. They end at July but can be fun. Rooms are more hit & miss the bathrooms are all small with the exception of a few. Elevators at small, busy, and crowded. The rooftop parties. Some are very nice and others ..eh. Bathrooms are small. Parking is a different address than the hotel if you are using GPS. Pets are allowed. They (you) get a nice bag, bowl, place mat and toy. However you will be charged $100 per dog!
