The staff are amazing! This hotel really is a testament to the amazing people that work here--from the valet to the food and bev manager and everyone in between. Every meal and cocktail were delicious. The artwork is so eclectic and rounds out the classic ambiance in the most perfect way. My room was so cozy and I couldn't hear my neighbors in the halls. I had enough pillows to feel like a princess. I will be back every time I travel to Houston. There is no other place to stay when in H-town!

I stayed for 3 nights and it was great! First, I can't say enough wonderful things about Kevin at the front desk! From the moment I walked in he made me feel like I arrived at a second home: courteous, kind, patient, and accomodating, he instantly made me feel like I made the right decision staying at Lancaster. He is an absolute gem and a huge asset to The Lancaster. That's plenty reason that I will only be staying at Lancaster moving forward. After check in everything was fantastic. The rooms (I stayed in Deluxe King) was spacious, clean. Housekeeping was incredible and checked in several times to see if I needed replenishment on the complimentary snacks and drinks or towels.

We visited Houston on family matters that were not so pleasant and we were surprised to find this beautiful hotel that became our home. Excellent rooms, great beds and pillows, excellent bathrooms, really great food and an ambiance of care and love that made our stay the best. We recommend it as an A+ hotel-home and will ever be grateful with every single member of the staff.

Elegant hotel with old fashioned service Tastefully decorated hotel with superior amenities and free breakfast and snacks. Comfortable bedding. Restaurant food is ok but not on par with the rest of the hotel. Hits and misses with the staff. Some go out of their way to be helpful while others behave as if they were working at a generic hotel.
