This hotel is gorgeous, has top-notch service, and is incredibly comfortable. While the room was spacious I did take advantage of the lobby areas that offered couches and tables with great wifi. The restaurant and bar were welcoming, but there are good options nearby too. I wish I had time to take a dip in the beautiful indoor pool. Highly recommend this hotel.

What a nice hotel. Positives were the easy check in, car service, free parking, room size and ambiance (including live plants) were great, bed was very comfortable, staff was friendly. Small gallery showing the hotel’s history was a nice touch. A couple suggestions, add music in the bar area at night (live piano player or similar), make the pool area more appealing with live plants, water features, hot tub (things you would expect to see in a high end hotel).

The hotel is beautiful and very well managed. From check in to check out it was as if our comfort was of paramount importance to the staff. The room (we had a premiere king) was more spacious than a NY city apartment. The bath towels were thick, absorbent and plentiful. The robes were the most comfortable I’ve ever worn. Desk staff and the concierge staff were very friendly and helpful. I had an early medical test and the concierge arranged a shuttle to the hospital and back again. Outstanding service! We will return!

Off the charts hospitality and comfort. Loved every minute there and cannot wait to visit again. Interior, location, friendliness and politeness of the stuff was such a welcome reprieve from the modern world and NYC in particular. The charm of the old with all of the comforts of today.

I came here for dinner during Christmas and it was amazing. The decor was top notch. They didn't miss a spot. The food was excellent and the Shirley temples were great. This place is so cool especially at Christmas time. The food was kind of expensive but that is to be expected. I wish I had gotten too stay here it is so cool.
