Very professional and courteous staff. The woman who checked me in was kind and attentive as could be. The event room and staff, also very attentive to our business needs. The hotel is amazing, beautiful rooms and great location. Would not hesitate to host an event or stay here again.

Its not a BAD hotel, its fine for a night or two, but given the cost, its extortionate for what you get. Of all the hotels we stayed in on our road trip through California, this was our least favourite. The room was pretty enough but really quite small and shower wasn't great - it was OK but not GREAT. The hairdryer in the room looked ancient and was kind of peeling. Bed was comfy though. Breakfast was OK, but we didn't get a window seat and the table rocked and wobbled. The waitress said she would bring something to correct it but she didn't. Oh well. I just felt that it was all about the aesthetic and not about actually being comfy.

We enjoyed this hotel which was part of a Rose Bowl Parade package we chose via a sepearate tour operator. The hotel is perfectly located away from the hustle and bustle of Santa Monica yet close to everything -- easy walk to the beach, the pier and many great dining options. The Penthouse bar/restaurant has an exceptional view of the Santa Monica mountains and surrounding area and a very nice vibe. Our room was clean and modern .... plus a very comfortable mattress. We would stay here again.
