Hotel Nikko-Beautiful, thoughtful interior, not stuffy but very elegant. Fresh vases of flowers greet you in a marble entrance with a Japanese aesthetic. All the staff are warm and welcoming, knowledgeable and accommodating. Our family of 8 enjoyed a 5 night stay. We had gorgeous, very comfortable rooms. The new Sushi Lounge is excellent with crazy delicious cocktails & mocktails. The dad’s hit the state of the art gym, the kids enjoyed the pool with skylights, and the ladies, well, there is a fantastic patisserie one block away called “One65”. We stay at Hotel Nikko every time we come to SF. The location is perfect for exploring Union Square, walking to the Ferry Building, easy access to cable cars, buses & BART. Hotel Nikko is serene, lovely. My brother lives nearby, he always asks me to order grilled salmon and garlic sautéed mushrooms from room service for him. Memories, Seda, the General Manager and her team help create great experiences and lasting memories.

I loved my stay here. The hotel is about 5 minutes away from Union Square and Powell Station which has a direct connection to the airport. I contacted the hotel in advance to make sure that they had a Toto in my assigned room to meet the needs of my disability and they (Theresa in particular) were amazing about making sure I had everything I needed. The hotel is huge but has the atmosphere of a boutique hotel. The staff were all friendly and nothing was too much. The breakfast chef even cooked something for me that was not in the breakfast buffet. My only gripe is that they should get rid of the destination fee and include it in the room price. In every other respect, they should just keep doing what they're doing. Thanks Hotel Nikko!

Worth evey penny! Friendly thoughtful staff. Super clean facilities, and restaurants in the hotel were amazing!!! It's gonna be tough staying in a traditional hotel. I wasn't exactly sure what I was in for staying at a hotel that is designed for a Japanese cultural experience, but it was the best stay I've had in a hotel...ever! If you have the chance to stay at a Hotel Nikko, DO NOT pass on that!
