Chose Hacienda Del Sol for Birthday, Anniversary, And St Patrick's day and didn't go wrong. We choose a Sonoran Room King with a view. Our view was to the southeast was beautiful at sunrise and city view at night was great. Room was very nice, very clean and well maintained. all was great there. Our stay was fantastic!!! Mona, Britney, Briana at guest services made sure anything we asked for was taken care of from room service ( we recommend for sunrise on patio) to dinner reservation just a outstanding job. Steven was very helpful guiding us around for dinning, drinks and other activities. The Terraza Garden Patio & Lounge has inside and out side dinning food was very good and service was great. We dined three time at The Grill and Nick, Grayson and Anglo took great care of us. Sunday we tried the St Patrick's brunch at the Grill and were not disappointed. Selection of traditional food was available but, the St Patrick's day selections were all there with fantastic flavors. Anniversary dinner on Monday was all we could ask for beautiful table over looking the valley at sunset, excellent service, drinks, and food. The chief special that night was Chapino we were not disappointed. Thank you all for the fine foods. Hacienda Del Sol Resort is great for special stays or just to relax the history, service, and dinning make it very special. Resort is pet friendly but there is a fee. Beside the resorts great amenities there are great places to visit close by, Degrazia Gallery in the Sun is just up the road, and The Mini Time Machine Museum Of Miniatures ( great see the craftmanship of vintage Doll houses and miniatures) and Reed Park Zoo( Great Zoo) or if your really adventurous drive to the top of Mount Lemon( Summer Haven). We are looking forward to our next stay

Resort facilities were excellent. The staff were exceptionally well trained and a joy to interact with during our stay. The Grill food was outstanding and the staff very attentive. One staff member went out of their way to find some crackers for us. Our historic room was well appointed and service was great.

Beautiful Resort. Rooms are spacious with either a patio or balcony. Bathroom is separate from shower and there are two sinks...awesome! Three pools. Vibe is low key for the most part. Staff tries hard to please. Firepits outdoors. Piano player during dinner. I only wish it was past 8:30 p.m. We do not like early dining. Nice that the resort fee includes tips for both housekeeping and valet. Restaurants are fine, service is very slow.

Stayed for 3 nights during a whistle road trip of Arizona. Checkin staff very friendly and professional and made us feel welcome. Our room was in the historic bit on the second floor overlooking a lovely grassed courtyard. The room was very comfortable and was rustic which went with the historic feel of the resort. Bed was very comfortable which is alway a good result. The 3 heated pools are not that big but certainly suited our needs and had lovely views over the mountains. Two restaurants one being off the well stocked bar which was nice and food was good. The other is more up market and has a nice atmosphere. Wednesday was prime rib night but unfortunately they had ran out, we didn’t dine until 7.30. However the waitress was very helpful and suggested the beef shank as an alternative and served it with the same dishes that accompanied the rib had it been available which was a nice touch. It was also a good choice. Overall the resort is very tranquil and relaxing. It’s well situated for touring if you don’t mind driving. It is an hour and 40 from Phoenix. From the resort we did Tombstone and Bisbee easily in a day also the Catalina state park for hiking trails. Good value for money A lovely stay and we would highly recommend it.

Stayed at Hacienda during a spring break road trip w my 17 yo son. Definitely recommend given other options in the area, as I enjoyed having the available spaces to relax when our sleeping schedule didn’t align. Spacious room and bathroom was appreciated! Loved all the spanish tile on the property. Friendly staff. Lovely views. Hacienda is a comfortable, lovely place. I don’t see it as a resort per se. The food was mediocre, but better than other options in Tuscon.
