This quaint resort was the perfect getaway to experience some unique wineries and relax in a serene environment. Upon our arrival, to our surprise we were upgraded to a suite at the back of the property where it was private and quiet. The pool was pleasant to relax and take in some sun. The nightly wine tastings from partner wineries were an added bonus. We indulged in the 5 course chef tasting menu at the Farmhouse restaurant and it did not disappoint. The food was amazing and they accommodated a veggie option. We will definitely be back to enjoy this incredible property in beautiful wine country!

i dined at thier restaurant a few year ago, but the I stayed four nights this fall while visiting some Sonoma wineries (Lynmar and Small Vines). It’s a nice inn, with well appointed rooms. We enjoyed every evening when they brought in a different local winery each night for a tasting. Of course, we also ate the Michelin star restaurant which was quite enjoyable although it got a bit loud when they seated a group of four in the middle of a small room.

Great service, food and accommodations. We were in room 9, cottage and it was quiet, comfortable and romantic. We enjoyed s’mores by the fire pit at night. Wonderful attention to details. The marshmallows were made from scratch. Home made soaps, and votive candles in the soaking tub. Heated floors in bathroom and steam shower. We canceled our dinner Reservations one night to have more time enjoying the smores, casual dinner at the hotel, and the wine tasting from 4:30-5:30. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary. We can’t wait to return. A true 5 star experience.

My wife and I started coming to the Farmhouse Inn about a dozen years or so ago. We love it because it is small and private with charming rooms, beautiful common areas and a highly attentive staff that make us feel like family. This visit, like all of our prior ones over the years, was excellent. We came in on a Sunday for just one night when the hotel was only about 60% full. The concierge recognized us from our previous visits and welcomed us warmly. We were given a complimentary room upgrade. A bottle of wine and a sweet, hand-written welcome note were waiting for us in our room. We spent the afternoon lounging by the swimming pool and had an artisan pizza and drinks from the Farmstand poolside restaurant. The staff was very attentive and continually refreshed our ice-water and towels, and brought small dining treats to all of the poolside guests. We had a 6pm dinner in the fine dining restaurant. The dining room is in the main farmhouse is beautiful in an understated and casual way. The dinner was a Chef's choice set menu, which might not appeal to everyone, but was great for us. We also opted for the wine pairings. We have eaten many fine meals all over the world, but our dinner that night was probably the best we have ever had. From the champagne start and several small appetizers, we were then treated to eight small courses, many of them served by the Chef himself. The Sommelier delivered and explained a new wine with each course, until the final Sauterne with dessert. This restaurant deserves to have its Michelin Star returned! After a quiet and peaceful night in our room and an delightful steam shower the next morning, we opted for breakfast in the restaurant and were treated to a more casual, but just as excellent, dining experience. On our departure, we were again greeted warmly at reception and let them know that we hope to be back again soon! The cost of this hotel, like most great properties in Napa and Sonoma is not cheap, and continues to increase over time, but, for us at least, the experience continues to be worth the price.

My god this is the worst place ever! DON'T DO IT! First off this place is so noisy because it is right on the high-way. Then the room is so small it’s like living in a closet. I checked out a night early brocade it was so bad. They still charged me for the 2nd night in violation of California law. Total scam stay away!!!
