The four-star boutique hotel welcomes you with a marble floor, bold patterned armchairs, bright red leather sofas, an eye-catching chandelier, and a large red toy sports car. Playful touches extend into the elevators with London-themed wallpaper. Designers from around the world have also made their mark on the comfortable guestrooms, as well as in the Reform Social & Grill eatery, inspired by the classic British gentleman’s club.
Set amid the Victorian architecture of Marylebone Village, The Mandeville Hotel delivers its service with a large helping of style and considered panache. A mix of Old World comfort and modern luxuries, it has Selfridges and the high-end shops of Bond Street around the corner, as well as all the delights of London’s theaters, parks, restaurants, and world-renowned sights.
Much thought has gone into every one of the 142, Stephen Ryan-designed guestrooms and suites at The Mandeville Hotel. Each distinctly decorated room has been furnished with hand-selected Julian Chichester furniture and fabrics, creating distinct and memorable experiences. There are several categories of rooms, including the bijou Tiny Single Room — perfect if you are traveling on your own, flamboyant Riviera Rooms, and spacious suites. If you are looking to splurge in style, opt for the Balcony Suite. It has a superb terrace with views over the West End and is set over two floors. Executive Double rooms can be adapted for families with small children by providing an extra bed or a sofa bed.
Common to every room is a complimentary newspaper, C.O. Bigelow Apothecaries toiletries, and lovely beds with feather pillows and lush white linens. You can also expect Nespresso machines, large bathrooms, and lovely monogrammed slippers to slip on after a relaxing shower.
For a true sense of British style, dine in at the Reform Social & Grill, with the feel of an updated gentleman’s club or speakeasy. The afternoon tea menu is lauded. Beyond the hotel, the Marylebone area is packed with restaurants and bars for dining out. Try upscale American food at the Chiltern Firehouse and inventive Japanese creations at Dinings.
If you are focused on relaxing and are happy to stay in or close to your charming guestroom or suite, The Mandeville Hotel is perfectly placed to provide everything you need. Relax and book room service. Connect with friends using the free Wi-Fi. Slip into a bathrobe and watch a movie on the flat-screen TV, or get dressed up and enjoy fine dining at the on-site Reform Social & Grill.
The hotel is in one of London’s loveliest areas, home to a mix of leafy squares, independent shops, cafés, a weekend farmers’ market, bars, and restaurants. You are also a stroll away from the best of London’s shopping districts. The high-street chains of Oxford Street are close by, as are the designer boutiques of Bond Street. For art lovers, the Wallace Collection in Manchester Square is a gem and the hotel also has details of an excellent walking tour of Marylebone.

The Mandeville Hotel exceeded my expectations, beautifully decorated, rooms are very comfortable and you can hardly hear any noise in the rooms. All the staff was exceptional, including reception, cleaning, and breakfast teams. My room was clean, and the hotel offered complementary coffee, tea and water bottles. The breakfast was very good, with good variety. I was offered early check in (around 12pm) since my room was ready, which was perfect after an early flight. Will definitely book this hotel again!

My first stay at this hotel for 6 nights. The room was very clean and comfortable and a very decent size for central London. The room had everything I needed for my stay and more. The linens and especially the bath towels were superb. The location is fantastic for shopping, sight seeing, transportation, bars, restaurants etc. Hyde Park is walkable. Bond St. station is a 4-5 minute walk. The bar and restaurant were very comfortable with a nice atmosphere. The food and drink were all of high quality and reasonably priced. The staff that I encountered were all excellent, with a special mention to Razvan at the front who was always very pleasant and made my stay that much more special. In the dining area a special thank you to Kishore, always smiling and very professional for such a young man. Look forward to my return at the end of this month.
