Excellent! Was our Anniversary so when we stepped into our room, there was a congratulations note and a box of chocolates.💝 That was so sweet, we weren't expecting any of that. We also requested if we could have upper level and this was also organised. Disappointed with housekeeping as we had to ask for towels since there was only one towel between the two of us. When we were having a shower the drainage was bad that the water was not going down so when we did, let the Reception know they were very apologetic and got the situation fixed straight away. So efficient. The location was so good. Next to the station, as we walked out of the station, turn right, and there it was. Also bus stop was right across the road. So central yet very quiet, so we were able to enjoy our sleep. We also tried the Restaurant, had the burgers and ordered a coke. Very small bottle. Just that the waiter that was serving us was too busy talkng with a young girl that we had to wait for ages before we could ask for anything. In the end we had to get attention with another waiter to get us drinks, our bill... We would love to stay again.

I stay in London a lot and this Hotel was new to me but the price was in my budget so thought I would give it a go, location is awesome right next to Aldgate station, putting you right next to the high rises of Gherkin and such, lovely hotel entrance, staff were fantastic and attentive. Got a free room upgrade with a view which was a lovely touch, room was smart and well appointed, bed was super comfy, bathroom clean and shower was lovely. There were a few scuff marks on the walls in the room, so could do with a touch up.

Great hotel with comfortable rooms, good food and friendly, engaging staff. Great location with easy access to all major tourist spots and theatres. Will be happy to return on future London trips.

Breakfast doesn’t open until 7am! Too late for business people needing to start work early! Surely 6.30am start is reasonable?

Rooms could have been a bit more sophisticated considering the price bracket but bed and pillows are amongst the most comfortable I've encountered. Overall the room aesthetic was nice. Very good temperature control in room. Bathroom amenities like the make up remover sets were a great addition along with the hotel branded bottles of water in the room. Shower didn't work properly ( no flow) which was not satisfactory but didn't matter as it was only an overnight stay, it would have been an issue for a longer stay. Plenty of decent towels.Black out curtains were super for those need darkness- I didn't realise on opening the curtains the windows went so the way to the for which was a bit if a surprise! Staff at the hotel were really great and incredibly helpful.
