Dining

Sea Cliff Resort & Spa Zanzibar’s two restaurants and three bars have a laid-back vibe, with open-air thatched pavilions that make the most of the tropical climate. Dine on local and international cuisine at Mangapwani and Kobe, and enjoy sea breezes and idyllic views at Zanzibar, Jetty Bar and the Beach Bar.

Sea Cliff Resort & Spa Zanzibar, Zanzi-Bar

Mangapwani Restaurant – With a pavilion and large terrace, the all-day dining restaurant overlooks the main pool and ocean. Choose from a buffet stocked with local and international dishes, and at night, look forward to lantern-lit tables and live entertainment.

Kobe Restaurant – For a casual lunch, dine at an umbrella-shaded table by the second infinity pool. On the menu are fresh salads, healthy wraps, and tasty pizzas, plus you can order food and drinks from your sun-lounger around either pool.

Zanzi-bar – Under a pitched Makuti roof with whirring fans, this chilled bar has leather sofas, wicker chairs, and old wooden trunks. Amble over for a tropical cocktail any time of day, and be sure to catch sunset from here at least once during your stay.

Jetty Bar – At the end of the wooden jetty, this thatched-roof gazebo offers a front-row seat for Zanzibar’s stunning sunsets. Descend the staircase for a dip in the sea, then enjoy the view from a comfy chair or sun lounger with a cocktail in hand.

Beach Bar – Unwind at this blissful spot overlooking the resort’s private beach dotted with sun loungers and umbrellas. Sip cocktails, beer, wine, and juices in between spells of swimming and snorkeling.

Activities at Sea Cliff Resort & Spa Zanzibar

Sea Cliff Resort & Spa Zanzibar Pool

Gaze at endless ocean vistas from a sun lounger, or head to the watersports center to enjoy complimentary kayaking, paddle-boarding, and sailing — or try your hand at water skiing and tubing. Play a game of beach volleyball, and keep fit with Technogym machines in the gym. Indulge in Africology treatments in Zuri Rituals Spa, and hang out in the sauna, steam room, and plunge pool. Swing by the stables and go horse riding, or play a round of golf at the nine-hole seaside course or the delightful Cliffer's Cove Mini-Golf Course located next to the ever-popular Kids Club.

Away from the resort, visit Stone Town to explore the atmospheric alleyways and fascinating architecture influenced by African, Arab, European, and Indian cultures. Haggle for souvenirs in the bazaars and stop by the house where Freddie Mercury, the legendary Queen singer, was born. Take a boat to Changuu Island, home to giant Aldabra tortoises, and visit Jozani National Park, where you can see the rare red Colobus monkey.

An unforgettable feeling of comfort and care.

It's time to write a review of my stay at a great place in Zanzibar. This place is Sea Cliff Resort and Spa. I stayed there for two exclusive weeks in February / March. My admiration began with the reception, the staff immediately surrounded me with care and attention. Arrival was late (11 at night), but the staff found the strength and desire to put me in comfort and cook for me wonderful pizza , in the refrigerator, in the room I found fresh fruit. Everyone, exclusively all the staff were very friendly. It's like being in a loving family.Smiles and greetings, a sincere interest in your comfortable stay. I would like to express special admiration and gratitude to the restaurant. The quality and variety of cuisine pleased me every day. I liked the fact that the choice of food and treats was decent, wide enough but at the same time very high quality. Seafood - squid, fish and octopus, this is what I really love. Then two or three options of meat products every evening. A variety of vegetables, and the most delicious desserts in assortment. I would also like to note the outstanding work of the restaurant manager Nitish and head chef. They were both available every evening in the restaurant, you could always talk to them and discuss the menu, this suggests that they care about their business and carefully worry about the guests' tasty and comfortable meals . The entertainment program was amazing, you can’t rarely see this anywhere else. I want to name the stuff and special thanks to those who made my holiday unforgettable. I hope that the management will find a way to reward these workers! Grace -the restaurant waitress.👏 Mariam -Bar waitress🤗. Charles-the lifeguard/towels 🙌 Frank-the jette bar.👍 Amina massage.🪄

Friendly staff and great location, nice pool and dining area with good facilities such as gym, tennis courts and mini golf. Small beach which was a 5-10 minute walk away but was worth it as it was very quiet with a bar and food nearby.

Amazing Hotel with Exceptional Service and Food

Our stay at the Seacliff Hotel, Zanzibar was truly a 5-Star experience. This hotel perfectly combines with luxury and warmth, with elegant design and top class facilities. The food and service were incredible-every meal was delicious and expertly prepared, with staff always ready to go the extra mile to ensure everything was perfect. Additionally, the hotel's spa offers a relaxing and rejuvenating experience, making it the perfect place to unwind. The rooms are beautifully designed, and offering breathtaking views and the comforts you could wish for. The only golf course in Zanzibar with a driving range and one can hire clubs and buggy. The 9th is the beautiful iconic hole, downhill, the green is flanked with bunkers all round with the sea beyond. We highly recommend Seacliff Hotel for anyone looking for an outstanding getaway Atul & Mina
