Wonderful stay for 3 nights hosted by AndBeyond Klein’s camp. Product was on-point and the staff were very caring, warm, thoughtful and professional. After spending the better part of the morning flying from Dar-es-Salaam to Lobo airstrip, we were picked up by our ranger and tracker in the truck. The same team would host us on our game drives. After a coffee and snack by the airstrip, we started our drive to Klein’s camp. Along the way we detoured to check out some sightings and ended up an hour later than our ETA. We were warmly greeted by all of the camp team at the assembly area. Our Bags taken to our new homes for the next few days, while we went for a late lunch and a brief briefing. Meals are set course but very generous. You can ask for refills if it’s not enough. Wines and liquor are included in our package; but if you wanted better quality stuff, expect to pay for it. There’s also a separate bar area where you can share and discuss your drives with other visitors. Each building here is built round in shape; even the bar and restaurant and the lodges. Our lodge was also circular. We walked in the central door to our bedroom. A king sized bed took centre stage. On the left was open shelving and a liquor cabinet. Wine, gin, vodka, brandy, some soft drinks and mixers can be had. They take their G+T seriously here and even provide two whole limes, a marble cutting board and a sharp knife. There are snacks here too, accommodated in three large glass jars. I like that they had an exercise mat with some light weights (sets of 1 & 2kg), skipping rope, and “thigh master”. This was useful for the fitness enthusiast. There is no gym on site. I actually found it difficult to find time to exercise, esp since we usually start around 6.30am for game drives. There are two easy chairs flanking a low table here. The right side of the room had a safari-style writing desk, and chair. A cupboard with space on both sides for your safari luggage. Note that there in laundry service included, so we made sure we used it for our daily wear. The bathroom was around the back. Two sinks built into marble counter, amenities and soap, moisturizer, and facial mist in between the two sinks. Hairdryer is hanging on the wall, and a small make up mirror is also provided. There’s a large walk in shower with overhead rain shower. All your shower amenities are conveniently placed here. Shower water is nice and hot, and plentiful. My wife fell ill with stomach flu, probably from eating the garnishes at Johannesburg airport. The staff all shared genuine concern for her well-being. They went out of their way to make sure she recovered. We asked chef if he could make her some chicken soup and he obliged. It progressed to chicken soup with rice and it made a world of difference to her recovery. The team also called tele-medicine to consult a doctor for meds for her. Thumbs up, guys! Really appreciate the above and beyond effort! We are here for the game drives and we were very happy that our ranger and tracker were super enthusiastic and willing to go off the beaten path. As a result, we saw many animals up close. We loved the team at Klein’s Camp. They were so warm and welcoming and they made sure we had everything we needed. From the housekeeper to the Manager, they were all fantastic. We cannot recommend this camp more. From their lodgings to the food to the successful game drives, well worth the time and effort and money to get here. Highly recommended

Our first trip to Klein's Camp was in 2023 and it was soooo amazing, we had to come back! We were honestly a little afraid that our second trip may not live up to the fantastic experience expectations that we had during our first trip. Well, we didn't need to worry at all, as our second time was just as amazing, if not more, than our first!! We were so fortunate, once again, to have the dream team duo of Seleu (Guide) and Laboo (Tracker) on our game drives. What made our stay even better was the outstanding service by James (Butler) and Masai Warrior guard (Sparro) escorting my wife and I to and from our unit after dark. We also were lucky to have met and always being greeted (each morning and after returning from the game drives) by the camp manager, Nina, with a smile and always positive demeanor. I can't describe how friendly and accommodating everyone was, making our stay even more enjoyable than it would have been otherwise. They truly made us feel like family and further strengthened our life long friendships and love of this amazing camp. The game drives were definitely our favorite, as we love seeing and being close to the amazing African animals in the Serengeti. During our first trip in 2023, we were lucky enough to see the Big 5 during the 4 days of our stay there, including one of the closest encounters to a black rhino that any of the guides at this camp have ever experienced. Although we did not see the black rhino on this most recent trip, we had experiences just as amazing, with close up encounters with leopards, cheetahs, elephants, African buffalo, wildebeest, zebras, giraffes, hyenas, water buck, gazelles, ostriches, and many encounters with lions, with experiences of seeing them marking, mating and courting their young cubs. It was simply a magical experience, not to mention the amazing driving skills by Seleu on some challenging on and offroad ventures during our drives. I could go on and on about this amazing camp from the drives, to the people, the accommodations, and the super delicious food, whether in their dining room or on game drives in the bush. We have now stayed at 5 different &Beyond camps and Klein's Camp will always be our favorite and have a special place in our heart, with many, many priceless memories. We will definitely be back for a 3rd visit and although it was 2 years since our last stay, I hope we won't need to wait that long for our next!!

Absolutely beautiful time of year to be there and not very crowded in that part of the country. Yes, the grass is long and the migration is further south at that time, but some of our most spectacular animal sightings in Tanzania were there (including a leopard climbing up a tree to finish eating its prey, hyenas, cheetahs, elephants, giraffes, the list goes on). Our guide, Seleu, was fantastic and we learned so much from him. There didn't seem to be a question he couldn't answer! He also took us to a Maasai home and a nearby school, which was very eye-opening and educational. A highlight of our trip. The camp is exceptional. Luxurious accommodations with first-class hospitality and delicious (and plentiful!) cuisine. The "sundowners" were an unexpected treat - we did not expect our jeep to be turned into a bar where we could enjoy a gin and tonic while watching the sun set over the Serengeti. Unforgettable!

Stunning location with beautiful architecture using local materials Great location for exploring Serengeti National park. Top notch chef able to cater to vegan diet Took day trip to Mara river to wildebeest migration, hippos and Nile crocodiles. Were treated to traditional Masai song and dance during dinner one evening. On our last night, my husband and I were surprised with a private dinner at the pool area. Lovely camp and staff. First class safari experience
