Nice and convenient location

We stayed at a number of hotels during our summer holidays in Taiwan, and this was our last hotel. Stayed in Taipei for two days before taking a flight out of Taoyuan. Very central location with the HSR, train station, and MRT a close walk to the hotel. I had booked an executive king room. When I arrived, they had given me an executive double twin room, it took the front service desk some time to sort this out. Also, my two special requests that I had emailed in advance: for a room next to the elevator and for a shower chair to be placed in the bathroom, were not met. I had to phone the front desk to ask them again. Convenient parking because hotel is attached to the shopping mall Q Square. Lots of food options nearby. I got charged $1,100 TWD in parking fees for my last day but a quick telephone call to the hotel sorted that out. Not giving 5 stars because of the blips at the beginning of my stay but the service from the executive lounge and the breakfast restaurant was excellent and made up for it.

A superb place to stay and commute from

We had a wonderful 5 night stay at the Palais de Chine. The staff go out of their way to provide top notch service. Andy and Ken at the front desk made us feel so welcome. The hotel has a warm, inviting feel. Rooms are spotless, bed is very comfortable, quiet. The gym was perfect. The executive lounge was a nice evening treat. All said, we were disappointed in the service of the staff on the 6th floor restaurant, inattentive and the hostess was verging on being rude. Disappointing.

Good service from lobby staff at ground floor

Arrival to hotel with luggage baghandle broken at airport on 4Aug. Check out on 7Aug, ground floor staffs informed me 5mins walk have a repair shop. They called and check price for me and it was reasonable quote and I had the handles replaced as Singapore airlines no longer cover such damage claims. Good service from hotel team !

Very cool ambience. Clean room and everything works like a charm. Excellent location, right next to Taipei Station and shopping malls. The members of staff are friendly and helpful, special shout out to Andy who is amicable and full of knowledge. Had enjoyable conversations with him. Overall a fantastic experience. Thank you. Lin

I spent a few nights at Palais de Chine Hotel, and the experience was one of the best I've ever had! I got a very warm welcome, staff were super supportive. They always cared for me and provided the best options for every question I had. The facilities are wonderful, the bed are comfortable. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone, and will be pretty sure to come back when I get a chance in the future.
