Amazing Stay!

Sun Aug 03 2025 01:18:57 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) by Scott876

Our family of 4 stayed here for 3 nights in June of 2025 and was the best accommodations on our trip to Switzerland. The location was great as it was close to the center of town, but far enough away to be very quiet. We arrived before we could check-in, but they held our bags and when we checked in, the bags were already delivered to the room. The staff was amazing! They were very friendly and helpful! The breakfast was the best we also had a hotel on our trip with a very large selection, omelet station and fresh squeezed orange juice. The kids had no problem finding food that they really enjoyed. We also ate dinner at the restaurant it was also excellent. The service was great and food was amazing. our kids also swam in the outdoor and indoor pools and had a great time. The room was very clean, spacious and had a great view of the Matterhorn. We were very glad we stayed here and would highly recommend for family's with young kids.

Great hotel

Stayed here for 5 nights and had a great stay. The room was nice and clean with a balcony. The room also had a direct view of the Matterhorn. Breakfast was really good, plenty options for hot and cold food. Outside bar/terrace at the front was excellent as well, again with stunning views of the Matterhorn. Hotel as a taxi shuttle to and from the train station. Location is really good. Zermatt is all easily walkable but the hotel is close to sunnega funicular station, migros supermarket and the main street which has a lot of shops, bars and restaurants. The staff were all really friendly and helpful Would happily stay here again if back in Zermatt

Fantastic, well managed hotel with attention to detail on everything.

Fantastic, well managed hotel with attention to detail on everything. This is our third visit here and it has recently been refurbished to their usual high standard. We opted for spacious corner room with matterhorn view and it did not disappoint, worth every penny. All the little things make this hotel head and shoulders over other hotels - dressing gowns/slippers, L'occitane soap/shampoo/beauty products, free soft drinks in fridge replenished daily, TV easy to use, comfy enormous bed, free fruit. Breakfast has extensive choice and thoroughly recommend the bircher and freshly squeezed fruit juices. Our weather was changeable but hotel umberellas were of high standard. Staff are all courteous, discrete, attentive and efficient. Overall a wonderful week's stay - well done Beausite for another fantastic experience. Cannot think of any area for improvement.

When Zermatt Was At Its Worst BEAUSiTE Zermatt Was At Its BEST!

Sat Apr 19 2025 14:32:47 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) by HBDST

In life, sometimes people's best reveals itself when things are at their worst. This saying could not be more true as to our April 12-19, 2025 stay at Hotel BEAUSiTE. You would think that when a ski resort gets a big dump of snow during the last week of ski season that it would be a blessing that brings the best skiing to the mountain - spring sun and weather with deep snow and powder. The opposite happened in Zermatt, incredibly. There was so much snow that it shut down the mountain, and cut off the town from the world - no trains, no buses, no open roads, and no electricity. Of course, this also meant that lifts were closed and the mountain shut down. By this time in our trip Hotel BEAUSiTE had already proven to be one of the nicest ski lodges we had ever visited. Now, when the city was without power the hotel stepped up their game. They were one of the very few hotels in the city with a generator. The piano player started playing and seemingly never stopped. The staff calmed and helped the guests with a smile and sense of calm. From the concierge desk to the front desk, to the bar to the restaurants, to the room staff, the guys shoveling snow, and everyone else, their entire team was awesome. Zermatt remained without power for 3 plus days, but those of us lucky enough to have chosen the BEAUSiTE had heat, food, drinks, power, and music, and we were all well taken care of. I would have left a 5 star review even had this not occurred, but I can't say enough about how the hotel made what could have otherwise been a very trying experience - and it was for other countless visitors at many other hotels - a very manageable and actually enjoyable stay for our family vacation. THANK YOU!!!!!

Matterhorn View Room in chalet new section of the hotel

Thu Apr 10 2025 15:00:26 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) by T B

First I’ll say we loved this hotel, I looked at every hotel online. We wanted a traditional Swiss chalet with updated rooms and amenities. It doesn’t sound challenging but it was a challenge to find the chalet exterior with contemporary not modern interior. For the most part this hotel doesn’t look as if it has a chalet exterior, it looks like a large grand hotel online, we almost didn’t book it for that reason. We are so happy that we went with this room and view! Much to our surprise the Matterhorn View Room is in the Chalet next to the main hotel. We had everything that we could have hoped for. There is a short interior walkway that connects the two. We booked the Matterhorn View Room through bookings.com because it appeared to be more clear as to the actual room we were booking. We wanted the Matterhorn view room with a balcony. The floor plan is shown on the hotel website as well as Bookings.com. The view in person is just as it is on the website. The view is actually mesmerizing. I didn’t want to go to sleep & miss out on the ever changing colors, sunset to sunrise. I’ll add the bed and bedding, like sleeping in a cloud of luxury. Great water pressure in the bathroom. Functional & beautiful design. Our room layout had his and hers bathrooms. The hotel design & decor is cohesive & beautiful throughout the entire property. The breakfast is superb, the bar with live music is wonderful and the pool spa relaxing. Wow, the view breathtaking! We did have one glitch when we arrived for check-in they assigned us the ground floor, it has the view, it has a patio versus a balcony however there are large 3D sky lights in the middle of the patio, this first floor Matterhorn view room is also next to the valet on/off area. Upon seeing our room we expressed our disappointment. The manager promptly offered another option .,we were offered the Matterhorn room on the third floor. My husband & I are very thankful for the adjustment. If we ever get back to Zermatt Beausite will be our first choice
