Accommodations

The historic and palatial 1920s Art Deco facade — around which the hotel was built — contrasts with its sleek contemporary interiors. The 75 guestrooms and suites are stylishly decorated with different woods, sophisticated gray furniture, and boldly patterned plush rugs. Step into your bathrobe and slippers after a soak in the designer bathtub with L’Occitane toiletries, pour yourself a glass of champagne, and admire charming views from a guestroom with a private terrace.

Concierge and reception are available 24 hours a day, so you can get help booking tickets to a show or advice on where to find the best tapas bar, whenever you need it. For a memorable event, choose one of the meeting spaces and rest assured that the hotel caterers and event planners will take care of every detail. The glass-enclosed Azulete, which opens up to lush gardens, is a particularly spectacular setting. Newspapers from all over the world are also available.

Absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Miramar, it’s so peaceful and beautiful with the city views. The pool, food, cocktails, service and our room were fabulous - I was a little concerned after some of the reviews but we had a fantastic experience. I would love to go back tomorrow!

Beautiful!

Tue Jul 08 2025 11:53:09 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) by bryonyb20199

We came back to this hotel after being here before, the hotel is beautiful. The front desk staff were nice and always greeted us. Our room was clean and tidy and everyday the cleaners did our room - one day they left chocolates on our pillow which was very sweet. We did have some faulty plugs but when we went to reception the fixed them for us very quickly. We didn’t pay to eat here but the food did look good - One day I ordered a caeser salad from the bar menu but it wasn’t typical Caesar salad because it had no chicken? But I mentioned this to the bar lady and she got chicken added. Maybe this was a translation mistake? The spa is AMAZING. clean and very aesthetic. Why I won’t give 5 stars is- On the weekends they have weddings - so the only weekend we were here we had to leave the pool at a certain time which was a bit annoying as it felt like the guests staying here weren’t important enough. And the following night was an event that went on late but was good music and we were allowed to be by the pool, it wasn’t exclusive to us anymore as the music event guests used all the beds up :( not a bad complaint but we came to relax completely and that took the edge of it slightly. If you’re on the third floor there is a fire exit door that people use to access the pool, if you’re at the bottom end of that corridor the door is a very loud slam & did wake us up a few times. (Just be conscious of that if you’re wanting to sleep early) The tables around the pool by the beds and chairs were filthy! I wiped the ones down that we had next to us because on one night my white dress got covered in dirt and other people drink stains isn’t nice. Overall we had a really nice time here and the hotel is very beautiful. We would come again and we have recommended this place to many friends.

We want to go back!

We stayed for four nights and had an incredible time. The hotel is immaculate and the grounds are beautiful. It is hilly walking there but the views and quiet are worth it. It's close to town but just further enough away to be away from the hussle and bussle. The cable cart from the beach stops at the hotel. The staff couldn't be more helpful and Daniel went above and beyond. Also the public gardens next to the hotel are worth a visit. We hope to go back!

WORST EXPERIENCE AT A HOTEL

Mon Jun 02 2025 15:42:49 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) by Sarah B

The hotel itself is really nice, same with the view.. but the service is the WORST we’ve experienced. When we arrived, the staff did not even help us bring our luggages in our room. We had to do it ourselves, while they were just looking at us. Just to mention, we’ve never had to do that before, in any previous hotels. When we got to our room and wanted to order room service, the phone did not even work ! When we mentioned that at the reception the same night, absolutely NOTHING was made to fix it. We had to go downstairs to order room service, and when they brought it to us, they just left it in front of the door. Again, WE had to bring the table inside the room. For a "5* Hotel", that is unacceptable. Then the next morning, they were knocking really loudly at our door at 8:30 in thesy morning, saying that we ordered water.. how could we order water when our phone did not work ? When it was time to checkout, we found out that the water that we “ordered” + food that we NEVER ORDERED got into our bill ? When we ate at the restaurant, which happened ONCE, we paid directly. We explained that maybe someone else put our room number to order their food, and they did not want to hear anything. What else can I say except that is just inadmissible. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL AT ALL ! Keep your money and go somewhere else !

Not a 5 star experience

The views are to the sea a very good, but half the rooms look to the back with no views at all... We booked this hotel for two nights in an intinerary through Cataluña, and paid over 500 euros per night, they did not have the room type we booked and we're downgraded... Construction work in the hotel (they told us it would be another 5 or 6 months!!!) Meant there were workers, much noise and dust... As the spa is closed we went to the outdoor pool which was filthy. The breakfast buffet had very basic choice, the cold was warm and the hot dishes like warm, everything sitting there all morning so not fresh made
