You cannot be in anything other than awe of this beautiful Spanish residence. From driving up the well set out entrance - the only words are wow! We stayed for two nights as an anniversary treat - we had room 3. The room is huge with a small outdoor terrace. Bed offered great comfort and space, bathroom facilities perfect with one of the best power showers I have used. The grounds speak for themselves- two massive pools, outdoor bar with shade, adults only pool and of course lead onto a world class golf course. They offer parking which was great for us. Breakfast was a little chaotic for me if honest - and although I love kids - far to many about. It isn’t self service so not as bad as some may I add. Quality of the breakfast was good. The little night bar with its vast array of whiskies was a treat and the resident band made for a perfect relaxing evening. The reason for the four stars is that there were slight imperfections here and there, at these prices all should be beyond amazing! Overall feedback is - very good but I don’t think we will return

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Finca Cortesin. In our opinion, this is an excellent example of the standards that should be met by all 5 star hotels. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds that are extremely well maintained. We had a garden suite which was easily accessible for the pool, stylishly furnished, spacious and very comfortable. There are two outdoor pools (the longest pools we have ever seen) one of which is adults only. There is also a lovely huge pool in the spa. The pool temperature was perfect and there were ample comfortable sunbeds and cabannas with plenty of options for shade. Breakfast on the outdoor terrace was delightful with lots of options on the menu and the service was excellent. The hotel itself is again very stylishly furnished and this extends to the comfortable lounge areas and even the hotel corridors. We didn't play golf but did visit the golf club and had a peek at the course - again everything was top notch. We had dinner at El Jardin de Lutz, Don Giovanni, the Blue Bar and the Beach Club and enjoyed the food and wine in each. The Beach Club is quite small but had a very nice vibe. In general the staff throughout the hotel were very helpful and friendly. The spa itself was lovely, treatments are pricey but we both agreed that the massages were amongst the best we have ever had. If I have one small gripe it is that the facial was not good in my opinion (and I've had a lot of facials!). I politely explained to the therapist that I wasn't enjoying it or finding it relaxing and wanted to stop but she insisted on continuing. When I fed back how delighted we were with the massages but my disappointment with the facial to the lovely staff on reception, they said they would speak to the Spa Manager. The spa manager offered 50% discount on the basis that my skin would have benefitted from some of the product the therapist used which I thought was a disappointing and inappropriate response. Having said that it certainly would not stop us going back to Finca Cortesin. It's quite lovely and we are already planning our next trip.

We had an outstanding stay, it was totally faultless on every level. We had an Executive Suite which very spacious and extremely comfortable, with a fantastic balcony. We ate in all the Restaurants, which again were superb. The Italian was really good and had an extensive menu. The Japanese Restaurant and the Garden Restaurant were also exceptional. There are many different lunch options as well The outdoor swimming pools were really nice, and in particular the Adults only pool was brilliant, and very quiet I have never seen swimming pools that were so big! The only comment was there was no service at this pool which was ok, as you could walk in a few minutes to the other pool where they had a fabulous restaurant open all day . Perhaps some dry extra towels by both pools would be helpful as well! Everything was perfect, the staff, service, food, housekeeping….. The highlight being the hotel has 2 beautiful hotel cats 🐈⬛ This is an outstanding hotel, and I will definitely be returning.? Thank you for a wonderful stay !

The greens are dreadful there is no grass on the greens. Cancel your tee time and use your money to play two rounds elsewhere. There are plenty of other courses in much better condition. If they wanted to keep their reputation they would either have provided you with the option to rebook or play at deeply discounted rate.

Beautiful hotel with magnificent details. The rooms are large and there are many lovely spaces to relax in. The lobby is exquisite and the spa and indoor pool area make this a wonderful hotel to stay in even in the winter since it is warm and luxurious.
