I will repeat again.

One time more I stayed in Boho Club Marbella and I got surprised with a new restaurant. Top place in the golden Mile of Marbella. Very close to Banus and the beach but with the amazing pool that they have everyone will spend the day there. Very nice staff.

Good but at times underwhelming

Mon Jun 30 2025 10:29:17 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) by N B

We stayed at Boho for four nights as a couple and had a generally positive experience, with a few areas for improvement. Service & Staff * Staff service was generally very good. Marco, in particular, stood out for his exceptional service. * The complimentary yoga classes were a lovely addition. As someone with years of experience in yoga (but not at an advanced level), I appreciated how the sessions were adaptable for all levels. Lowra (apologies if I’ve misspelled the name) was an excellent instructor. *Miranda at the spa was also great and I enjoyed my massage. Food & Dining * Breakfast was of good quality, with a nice selection of healthy options. However, both the à la carte and buffet offerings felt somewhat limited. Adding more variety would enhance the experience for those staying for a few nights. * We dined outside the hotel for dinner, but had lunch at the hotel restaurant/pool area, which was consistently of a high standard. * Offering more flexibility to adapt menu items for vegetarians would be appreciated. * It was surprising that complimentary water wasn’t available by the pool. We've experienced this previously and is something that Boho could consider. Rooms & Comfort * Rooms were functional and the bed was very comfortable. * However, we stayed in a garden room, which we wouldn’t recommend in hindsight. These rooms are clustered around a smaller pool that felt a little uninspiring and lacked privacy. The heavy curtains meant we had to choose between privacy and natural light, which was disappointing in sunny Marbella. * A bungalow might offer a more enjoyable experience if your budget allows. * There were a lot of ants in our room, likely due to a wide gap under the entrance door. -Atmosphere & Facilities * The hotel had a peaceful, quiet atmosphere, which we appreciated — it never felt crowded. * Relaxing at the main pool was generally pleasant, though at times it was disrupted by noise from nearby construction work (Bernies). Given the premium pricing, such work should be scheduled for off-peak periods, and the hotel should ensure their only pool bar is operational during high season. * The hotel has a single main pool shared between adults and children. At times, the noise from kids disrupted the peaceful setting. It might be worth considering designated adult-only hours, a separate kids’ pool, or even transitioning to an adults-only policy to align better with the hotel's overall branding. Location & Accessibility * The hotel’s location is not very walkable. We attempted to walk to Puerto Banús one evening but had to reroute due to the lack of a footpath on the Google Maps-recommended route. A complimentary hotel shuttle would be a helpful addition. * As noted by other reviewers, parts of the hotel are affected by noise from the main road. It’s not overwhelming, but it can detract from the otherwise tranquil vibe.

Three reasons why its not a true five-star hotel – and two reasons you might consider going anyway

Tue Apr 22 2025 04:19:43 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) by Erlend L

Just returned from five nights at Boho Club. It’s hard to understand how this hotel is categorized as a five-star property. Here’s why: 1) The hotel is located next to a four-lane road with heavy traffic, resulting in constant noise throughout the outdoor areas. 2) Poolside service is sloppy (but the people working here is super kind and lovely). The same person managing the pool bar, also has to fetch food and drinks from the restaurant, meaning they’re often gone for short periods. One day, when there were about 15 guests sunbathing by the pool, no staff appeared to offer water or take lunch orders until 12:30 PM. And dont expect help with adjusting sunbeds or lowering parasols either. 3) There seems to be no system in place to keep the hotel grounds consistently tidy and clean. The same used snuff-pouches and paper litter that were lying in the grass and bushes on our first day, were still there the day we left. A friend’s daughter stepped on broken glass on one of the hotel’s walkways, and cut her foot – glass that had likely been there since the day before. Before we arrived, we received a WhatsApp message from the hotel, ending with: “You can reach the front desk by responding to this message at any time.” I replied, but never received a response. That said,- there are two reasons you might still consider staying here. The staff are genuinely friendly and welcoming – absolutely lovely people(!), from the cleaners to the restaurant and reception employees. And secondly, the rooms are spacious and of a high standard. Turn down service is a pluss. If Boho Club were categorized as a four-star hotel – which I believe it should be – I would have gladly given it four stars. But as a five-star hotel with corresponding high prices, I can only give it three stars. If the hotel were to maintain spotless outdoor areas and improve poolside service, that would make a big difference for us. However, little can be done about its location next to a four-lane road.

Beautiful resort

Boho Club is a beautiful resort with wonderful employees. We flew into Malaga and then hired a car, so I can’t speak for ease of transport from the airport, but the drive was easy and quick. When we arrived our car was parked for us and the luggage was placed in our room while we enjoyed a drink at the outside area of the restaurant. When taken to our cottage, we were on the back row giving us beautiful views of the sea, resort and pool area from our deck. We had a 1 bedroom cottage and the decoration and style is gorgeous. The sofa is way too low for us oldies 😂 but great. The bathroom is beautiful and modern. We especially loved that you can connect your phone for music to the built in speakers in the living room and bathroom. The bed is extremely comfortable. Breakfast is served every morning till 11am and the buffet is one of the best we have ever seen. The seeds and fruit available next to the Greek yoghurt were fantastic. So many choices. We had dinner one night at the restaurant and it was fabulous. Service was fantastic. Also had late night drinks upon returning from a night out at the DJ covered area outside and had a great time. The vibe was fun. We sadly couldn’t use the pool, it was too cold, but it certainly looks nice. We also didn’t use the spa, so can’t comment. It was easy to get to different areas of Marbella from here, and Ubers were super cheap. The bus route is also right in front on the main road. We would love to return here when the weather is warmer, but a winter break here was perfect.

Great Location and artsy details. Small and dark rooms

Sun Feb 09 2025 03:49:08 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) by Gen C

Funky luxury hotel with lovely quirky details. Everywhere in this hotel is Instagrammable and full of artistic touches. The location is also great between the Old Town and the marina. The only issue is the small rooms for the price we paid. We booked the two bedroom villa and it was so small and dark for the price we paid. We were in sunny Marbella and the interiors were small and dark.
