I was looking forward to three nights at this relaxing non-corporate hotel. We arrived, checked in and then were told there was no power. It was being worked on but with no idea of when it would be fixed. It had been out all day. After a few hours we decided to leave. The hotel made no offer to help find us another hotel. The staff seemed paralyzed and bewildered. Untrained for such an event. It’s one thing to have an outage (even if they did resiliency planning) but the staff should be trained and help their customers. Very disappointing.

Nice Hotel, near nothing. Way too many mosquitoes and, although they try to control them, they got into my room. The swimming pool was also not available due to remodelling. If you want to have a relax visit to Queretaro, this is a nice place, but expect taking uber for everything.

Had to attend a conference here, stayed in the room with the patio downstairs. I liked that it was very quiet and the peacefulness. There were mosquitoes in the room but I was able to get bug spray from the concierge and had them spray the room, please let them know right away so they can do something about them and you can get a restful sleep. I especially like the amazing gym and access to bottled water. The staff were great. Breakfast at the restaurant was great, the duck tacos and chicken dishes were great. Also their carrot cake is very good. Again adjust your expectations and remember this is a very old building and enjoy yourself. Oh we even saw some native birds and enjoyed the landscaping and scenery.

It is a beautiful place, but it needs more tidyness. It is a hotel with a lot of potential, but it needs work on cleaning, taking care of gardens, restaurant to be more cozy. Mexico in general has a high service standard, but this hotel needs work on that end.

Was there for a business event. My room was large, with a small shower. Environment is nice, with tennis, minigolf. I did not try the restaurant nor the breakfast. Welcome desk was well organize to receive many people at the same time. Conference center was good also.
