Good location

We had two rooms (1 for parents 1 for young adult children). Parents room faced the Main Street and was very noisy. (We kept wondering if a window was open!). The room itself was small and set up like a studio apartment - area for sink was right at the door. Daughter’s room had twin beds and was larger with a bench by the door, sink/bath in a side nook, and overlooked a temple. We should have switched with them! Anyway, check in was a bit long (1 daughter has an allergy and since we booked the breakfast they had to sort out how to handle it). Breakfast was very busy the first morning and less so the second day. Selection was good- liked how they showcased Osaka special foods. Hotel is convenient to the subway and the covered shopping street is a block away. Easy walk to shop, eat, and walk to see the madness of Dotonbori at night! We did some laundry and that was convenient and inexpensive. Staff was helpful. Would stay again but would book a room facing the temple.

Good value for money

Location is very nice. You can reach to the marketplace in 20mins on foot but you're not in the middle of the crowded areas. It's a nice balance in my opinion. The street the hotel is on was very beautifully decorated with lights and it was lively any time of the day. The room design was quite original. Toilet and shower are at completely separate places, with sink and toiletries in between in the open. Room size was decent for a business trip. Breakfast was very good. Definitely worth it. It has plenty of options for foreigners while also making traditional Osaka cuisine available. Need to mention good coffee you can take away. Cannot comment on housekeeping as I stayed only 2 nights and I didn't want cleaning. But the hotel was very clean. Finally they have a small bar at the reception where you can enjoy the view and sip your cocktail. Overall I enjoyed my stay there.

Very noisy hotel

I cannot recommend this hotel due to the unbearable noise at night. Almost every night, a group of motorcyclists with modified exhausts would ride past the hotel, deliberately creating excessive noise. Even with the windows fully closed, the sound was so loud and disturbing that it made it nearly impossible to sleep. If you’re looking for a peaceful stay, I strongly suggest choosing a different place. On a positive note, the breakfast was excellent – fresh, varied, and well-prepared. Still, if you’re looking for a peaceful stay, I strongly suggest choosing a different place.

Nice Hotel

This is a modern hotel located right in the heart of Osaka. Just a few things to keep in mind before I talk about the actual rooms in this hotel. First of all, the taxi drivers seem to have a bit of a problem finding this hotel. One of the main things to keep in mind is there is a large Korean temple right next-door to the building that houses this facility. That's a good thing to look for, as it is very obvious, when you're trying to find this hotel or direct your taxi driver to this location. Another of the interesting factors of this hotel is that you don't check in on the ground level. What you do is you go up to the 16th floor, which is where you will check in. This is something that has become more and more common in the modern, newly developed hotels in Japan. On the 16th floor, you will find the reception desk. There you can check-in and from there you go to the various floors below the 16th level to the rooms of the hotel, which are located between the fifth and the fifteenth floors. The rooms in this hotel are very nicely designed. They are very modern and very well situated. They have very nice bathroom and shower facilities. And, they are quite comfortable. For some strange reason, they gave me a room where two beds were pushed together. Why they did this, I have no idea as this is not the type of room I had requested. This being said, though it was a little strange of a sleeping situation for my wife and I, the overall quality of mattress and bedding was excellent. And it was quite comfortable As stated, this hotel is ideally situated in central Osaka. It is located on the main high-end shopping street of the city, where stores Harry Winston, Rolex, McLaren, and the like are just steps away. There is a subway station right down the street. You can easily walk to Dotonbori. Plus, the main enclosed shopping and dining street of Osaka is just one block away, where you can easily walk to and grab a bite to eat or to go and buy anything you may need. Overall, this is a very nice hotel. I would recommend it for anybody planning to travel to Osaka.
