Great location and hotel. Breakfast was excellent and the room a decent size. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Self parking was not particularly easy and turned out to be a similar price to the valet option.

The entrance to this hotel is almost hidden in the Main Street. When I arrived I was shown to a tiny room with a small bed. Although I always book a double for single occupancy something must have been lost in translation. They did however ‘upgrade’ me to what was still a small room but had at least a small double bed. The staff were all lovely and Matteo saved my life when I found a big crack in my suitcase which he got maintenance to fix. Breakfast was lovely in a beautiful dining room where you could also dine in the evening. Breakfast staff were all so friendly especially Paolo who chatted with me and complimented me on my Italian!!! Loved that 💖. Can recommend for location and staff and beauty of the small hotel. Only 133 rooms. Just take care to be specific on your choice of room.

This hotel has a very classic architecture which is nice. The history behind it is very interesting and it is great to stay at a place that inspired Hitchcock among others. The staircase is definitely a highlight. Service and the reception were great. Matteo was amazing and shared great useful tips to getting to nearby beaches. The restaurant was good and service was really good. Food was just ok. Breakfast and the location were outstanding. A few points of improvement: the rooms were dimly lit, the bathtub is slippery, and a refurbishment should be considered.
