Order a light lunch of gnocchetti with pesto and green beans or snack on a board of cured meats and cheeses accompanied by tomato and chicken liver bruschetta. Wander around and take in the history of the hotel, as well as that of wider Italy — the hall that hosts breakfast features portraits of men like Giuseppe Garibaldi who helped unite Italy in the 19th century. Venture up to the rooftop terrace for charming views of the city and marvel at your beautiful surroundings.
Head outside of Bernini Palace Hotel and you will be in the center of the city, home to many masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture such as Botticelli’s iconic Birth of Venus in the Uffizi Gallery. Admire the crenelated tower of the Palazzo Vecchio as you walk over to Piazza della Signoria, the main square, or head down to the banks of the Arno for a riverside stroll. The concierge can assist you in making arrangements for everything from truffle hunting and wine tastings to river cruises and Renaissance tours — as well as the best shops, restaurants, and bars in the area.
Bernini Palace Hotel’s central location, directly opposite the Palazzo Vecchio and Palazzo Gondi, puts you in cozy proximity to Florence’s Renaissance landmarks. Piazza della Signoria is just a short walk from the hotel, and the banks of the river Arno are nearby.

A beautiful old school hotel in an excellent location and didn't cost much more than a Premier Inn. The staff were amazing and the ceiling if the dining room is a work if art.

What an exceptional choice for Florence, right in the absolute centre by the Duomo. During peak season, it’s difficult to get around by car, so being able to walk everywhere from such a central location makes this hotel unbeatable. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding — they even allowed us to check in a little earlier, which made our stay even more comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, the room quality truly luxurious, and the quality of the bedding with its beautiful linen was a highlight. Everything about the hotel feels and is premium, clean, and extremely cosy and comfortable. This is a multi generations of history — in fact, it was one of the very first hotels in Florence to have water supply and used as the big decision places back in the time. It’s no surprise they’ve been recognised in Forbes and voted among the top hotels in recent years - given the usual quality of rooms In hotels - this one is a definite winner. While there is no gym or spa, the service more than makes up for it — thoughtful, attentive, and genuinely caring. With so many beautiful hotels in Florence, it says a lot that this will be the only place I’ll choose when returning.

Bernini Palace Hotel is an exceptional hotel. The staff were welcoming, polite and very helpful, the Consierge, Lorenzo, especially. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast had a wide variety of dishes and was a welcome start to each day. The hotel is brilliantly located in the centre of Florence and within walking distance of the many museums and galleries. The Duomo is just a few minutes away.

We had an excellent travel experience at the Hotel Bernini. It is in a building from the 15th century which has been renovated with excellent air conditioning, large rooms for an old building, and decorated stylishly. The employees are very attentive to your experience which is a sign of excellent management. The location of the hotel is an easy walk to the restaurants and museums in the historic District of Florence. It is a good location to explore from. We would stay there again if we return to Florence.
