Sakshi a fantastic wedding co-ordinator

Wed Aug 06 2025 06:36:24 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) by Shane D

We visited the Castlemartyr Resort recently to look at it as a potential wedding venue. We were met at the door by a lovely wedding co-ordinator by the name of Sakshi Goel. While we were unable to proceed with the resort as a venue due to numbers, Sakshi was absolutely wonderful in the way she showed us the beautiful Hotel and grounds, she sat us down and made us feel like we were the most important people in the hotel. She was not pushy, but told us exactly what they could and couldn't cater for. She left us to think about it over a fortnight, but frequently touched base with us to see if we were ok or had any other questions. A really friendly person, Sakshi was an absolute pleasure top deal with from the very moment we walked in the door. Thank you Sakshi

Not 5 star at the moment

Sun Aug 03 2025 03:23:54 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) by Tiff10

Hotel is looking run down and uncared for . While staff are very nice the pool area in particular was very dirty , there was a bad smell around the place the grids around the pool are full of what looks like to be mould , the jacuzzi was broken , the plunge pool outside was dirty with just a hose pipe placed into it , the sauna had a couple of inches of water in the bottom and smelt so bad you couldn’t stay in it , this is not 5 star ! While breakfast was nice the area was so hot we wished a door had been opened to let some fresh air in . Theres damage to signage around the hotel at the lifts especially and that brings it down with missing letters . Rooms were nice and spacious though I don’t want to say it’s all bad but I feel like little touches Couid be done to make it feel that 5 star that you are paying for. We are Irish and felt a bit embarrassed that foreign travellers would not be getting what they might expect . I really hope they clean up the pool area and thermal area it’s really badly needed

A Memorable Birthday Celebration at a Beautiful Resort

Sun Jul 27 2025 13:17:20 GMT+0000 (Coordinated Universal Time) by Olga S

First of all, I would like to thank the Manor House manager, Jarek, for going above and beyond to accommodate my last-minute request for additional guests. I was celebrating my birthday with friends and family, and we truly enjoyed every moment spent at the resort. Afternoon tea was served in a charming old-style room with high, comfortable armchairs that created a warm and cosy atmosphere. The staff were friendly, highly attentive, polite, and professional during our visit. After lunch, we took a lovely walk around the resort grounds, surrounded by beautiful flowers. We enjoyed the mini waterfall, watched swans gracefully swimming in the river, and even played a game of outdoor chess. It was a wonderful day, and I would highly recommend this resort to anyone looking to immerse themselves in calmness, relaxation, peace, and harmony.
