For a visitor to Paris, this is “the place to be” The hotel is very well located, in a quieter arrondissement than Le Marais e.g. or close to the real tourist places. One walk in Rue Rivoli or Saint Honoré is a welcome one. The hotel has a family feel but it is. Friendliness and attentiveness is 100% there. The rooms are ravishingly beautiful in a style of the distant past that you can only still soak up there. Not only beautiful but also squeaky clean. It is a must to go if you are in Paris.

Hotel Mayfair is a charming and elegant French hotel with an amazing location, friendly staff, and a lovely breakfast. The rooms were spotless, and the whole place had that authentic French charm—you could almost feel it in your blood! We stayed for three days, and everything was absolutely perfect. Our stay at this hotel was one of my favorite visits /stays of a lifetime. This was a special mother/daughter trip (my daughter was on holiday break from her first year at college) and one we will never forget. I will save the best part for last. For now, here are highlights of details we loved: *the location. This hotel is right off Rue de Rivoli. Its location cannot be beat. All the luxury of a huge hotel but with the personal attention and warmth of a boutique, intimate hotel. You are right around the corner from some of the most prestigious shopping experiences; we walked to Opera Garnier, Galeries Lafayette, Notre Dame, Champs Elysees, Arc De Triomphe and more. Its location is just perfect. And it's on a tiny side street off the Rue de Rivoli so it's quiet. But walk out about 50 feet to Rue de Rivoli and you have access to all of Paris's best. *the rooms and hotel are immaculate and so charming. We had a room with a petite balcony overlooking the other Parisian buildings and it was amazing. Great amenities in the room, too. *the hotel partners with The Imperial Restaurant at the corner for all their room service and food items and the food is very good. *We stayed for over a week here, so we really got to know the staff and vibe. We loved coming into the lounge for a drink at the end of the day and some tapas . Now, the best part. The staff. Vanessa, Rika and Anthony held down the front desk and act as concierge as well as your check-in team. You turn in your key everytime you leave (keys have the room number on them) but you do not have to wait in line to get your key when you return. The rooms are totally updated and you can double lock your room when inside (so it's super modern and safe). The front desk team is multi-lingual and they greet you personally by name and cater to anything you need. They were each warm and so hospitable and genuinely welcoming. Many luxury properties can be pretentious, but Hotel Mayfair has mastered luxury with the art of warmth and personal service and caring. Anthony helped me find private transportation service for the next leg of our service out to Disneyland Paris for a few days and did a great job. But perhaps one of the most impressive were the two gentlemen who acted as "houseman": Ronnie and Kasi. They were on board one at a time (because we were there for a week, we got to experience each of them). They - singlehandedly- greeted guests, handled their luggage and delivery, ran the lounge/bar, serving drinks and food and also delivered room service and in one case acted as a handyman for an issue that we had locking our window (which was not an issue - it was us not knowing how to lock it). These gentlemen do everything - and with a smile and never were late or seemed stressed. They always made us feel like we were the only guest in the hotel and took a personal interest in us and our trip. They are a huge asset to the property. There is no doubt this is where we will stay when we return to Paris. It's the perfect place for service, location, a bit of luxury and personal touch (and comfort- loved our room)!

We chose this hotel due to its very central location and chose an interior room which was very quiet. The staff were great, and we only had two small complaints. Firstly, we found the bed to be much firmer than we like, and secondly the sides of the bath were very high, making it difficult to get in and out of the tub.
