My stay at K Klaus was wonderful. The room was comfortable and spacious. The breakfast buffet had many vegan dishes clearly marked. Even the rooftop bar and the Italian restaurant attached had delicious vegan options. I had a wonderful time.

Klaus K was such a great hotel. The staff was very helpful and kind. It was centrally located, with a tram stop right outside, and many terrific parts of Helsinki a short walk away. There are several great cafes in the area as well. The only slight drawback was that the elevators only sometimes would bring you to the lowest floor without needing a small staircase--normally not a problem, but I'd hurt my foot so stairs were a bit trickier than they would be otherwise. However, otherwise it was clean, accessible, welcoming, and affordable, and I would gladly continue to stay here when I return to Helsinki.

We stayed here for 4 nights following a bus tour. The location is close to shopping and restaurants. And there is a tram stop in front of the hotel that takes you to many other stops and Central Station for transfers. Check in was fast and all staff we had contact with were friendly. Our room was good sized and clean. Plenty of hot water and there is a small refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. Breakfast was plenty and a great way to start the day! We would stay here again.

We stayed at this hotel during a cold and rainy week in Helsinki, and unfortunately, our experience was seriously impacted by the room’s air ventilation system. The room had a centralised air conditioning system that could neither be adjusted nor turned off. The air flow was directed straight at the bed, right at head level, and stayed on all night. Coming back to a cold room after being out in the rain all day was unpleasant enough, but having cold air blowing on us while we slept made things worse. We repeatedly asked at reception for three days if anything could be done, but we were told the system was centralised and nothing could be changed. As a result, both my daughter and I became ill — I developed a cold, sore throat, and earache, while my daughter suffered from a cold, earache, and conjunctivitis. We were constantly waking up during the night due to the cold air blowing directly on our heads. It truly felt like a nightly torture. This kind of situation is unacceptable in a four-star hotel. Being unable to control the room temperature or turn off the air system should not happen at this level of accommodation. We expected far better comfort and care.
