From the grand double-height lobby to the 323 expansive guestrooms, a sense of elegance and serenity pervades this property, and its three impressive restaurants and the outdoor beer garden mean you have all you need right in the hotel. Add excellent service and convenient transport links that get you around the city with ease, and this hotel is the perfect choice for a stay in Shenyang.
The capital and largest city of Liaoning Province in northeast China, Shenyang is an important industrial center and a transport hub for the north of the country. There is also a fascinating history to explore: The striking Shenyang Imperial Palace is the only other royal palace outside the Forbidden City and Beiling Park is a tranquil getaway from the thriving city, whatever the season.
All 323 refined guestrooms have modern décor with splashes of vivid color and Chinese motifs that give you a sense of place. Excellent soundproofing ensures a peaceful night’s sleep, and marble baths with walk-in showers and deep soaking tubs add a luxurious touch. Pour yourself a drink from the well-stocked minibar, or curl up with a cup of tea or coffee and relax to views of the sprawling city below from your floor-to-ceiling windows. Some rooms provide two double beds, and suites have separate living areas. Thoughtful touches include plush bathrobes and slippers.
The friendly, multilingual reception staff are ready to assist around the clock and happy to arrange wake-up calls, laundry pick-up, and baggage storage on request. As well as an expansive ballroom for events, the hotel has eight meeting rooms equipped with stages, AV equipment, and interpreter services.
The hotel offers both Western and Chinese dining, as well as 24-hour room service. There is also a lobby bar and a pleasant outdoor beer garden.
Amenities in the hotel include a fitness center and an indoor pool. The hotel is conveniently adjacent to Cloud Nine shopping mall, a multi-level complex with an IMAX theater, pharmacies, shops, and restaurants, including several international fast-food outlets.
Shenyang’s most popular attraction is the Imperial Palace, also known as Mukden Palace. Believed to be the only other royal palace still in existence outside the Forbidden City in Beijing, this 17th-century complex was once the residence of the Qing Dynasty rulers. Wander through the ornate buildings, where cultural relics and artwork from the era are on display.
Another historical site worth visiting is the North Tomb, also known as Zhao Mausoleum, a collection of buildings housed around the tomb of Hong Taiji (1592-1643), the founder of the Qing Dynasty. The complex is inside Beiling Park, a tranquil retreat from the bustling city.
Longemont Hotel Shenyang is in the heart of Shenyang’s commercial district and provides convenient public transportation connections.

When I say a big bed it was very BIG and very comfortable, a party bed perhaps?🤔 We only stayed here overnight on our way back from North Korea. A brilliant breakfast buffet with omelettes cooked to order and excellent coffee. Both Chinese and Western tastes catered for. A great hotel.👍

We didn't do much in Shenyang after a 2 week tour of China but the accomodations were very comfortable & the breakfast buffet which came with the room was excellent. Our room was very spacious and reasonably priced (around $80 per night).

We stayed here for two nights in April. The hotel is great but we did smell some people smoking in the hotel lobby, and very strong cigarette smell in the hotel restaurant. The room is clean and large with wifi access. Overall, a good quality hotel for the price. There is a big shopping center next door with pharmacy, Watson, and Carrefour in case you need to do some shopping. There is also a small morning market available before 8am about 15 minutes waking from the hotel.

I stayed 3 nights, everything was perfect. I had an executive room which was huge. The bed and the pillows were comfortable, big bathroom, clean room, really nice. The breakfast had plenty of choices and the food was good. At the reception helpful staff, from 10 o'clock you can change money. The wi-fi was working good. You can ask for a map of the city at the concierge desk, as well for a taxi. I recommend the hotel, it was excellent.

I stayed at the Longemont Hotel in Shenyang for 8 nights. The room was large, clean and quiet. The bed was HUGE...the size of a kang! The buffet breakfast was outstanding with many delicious choices. If you want an omelet, just ask for it at the egg station. I didn't eat dinner there but there is a restaurant and a "beer garden" on sight with lots of choices. There is a mall next door and a number of small Chinese restaurants on the other side of Pangjiang Street. This hotel is also very close to the Pangjiang Jie subway stop (take a left when going out the main entrance and the subway stop is near the bus station about 400 yards from the hotel). I found this location to be very convenient relative to getting to Central Street (Zhong Jie), Beiling Park (Beiling Gong Yuan - this is on line 2) and the train station (Shenyang Zhan). I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful...you don't need to speak Chinese in order to communicate. There is also a very nice fully-equipped gym for exercising and a swimming pool on the 7th floor. I will definitely stay at the Longemont when I return to Shenyang.
