The park Hotel is a great choice for London. They're going to be my new go-to hotel every time we're in London from now on. The staff is amazing and incredibly accommodating. I was post operative and when they realized I had just had surgery they sent some food up to the room to make sure I had something to eat on hand. The room was clean, spacious and comfy.

Chris at the front desk was extremely rude

Very rude staff- bordering on racist. We had a very rude encounter with a male staff at the front desk. While asking questions to this male staff- his name is Chris- he said my uncle was barking. My uncle apologized if he was barking and explained it was the pitch of his tone. I questioned him on why he would say a guest was barking and that he ought to apologize. Even after being corrected, we have not gotten an apology from Chris. The case was reported to the manager the next day but we have no response or resolution from the manager on this. The rooms were nice but the staff telling a guest they are barking unprovoked is very unprofessional and unacceptable.

May as well stay in a dorm for all the noise

This hotel was recommended to me by people who stay in London all the time - that it is the best hotel in town. The best thing about this hotel is location. It’s close to Western and adjacent to the entertainment area of Richmond Street. Rooms are spacious. But for the price I was disappointed: - room was renovated probably 8-10 years ago and is starting to show signs of age - it is SUPER loud. People yelling in the hallways at all hours - the room doors to the hallway have no sound barrier so you hear every conversation of people in the hallways. - the room doors slam shut really loudly. I was woken so many times in our three nights by doors slamming. - the maids start rapping on doors just past 9am, and you can hear every single knock on other doors. If you are going to charge a premium price then you’d better deliver a premium experience. I felt like I was living in a college dorm. I challenge hotel management to stay in the room and experience for themselves. Disappointing experience.

Great location

What a beautiful hotel in a great location. It's close to many restaurants and amenities. I believe all the rooms are suites. Our suite was spacious, modern and clean. The bed was very comfortable. The wifi is a little slow, but good enough for checking emails. We enjoyed the free breakfast with coffee, bagels, cold cuts, pastries, etc. They had a dedicated staff member tending to that area which kept it clean and stocked. I would have given my review 5 stars, but we had a few minor things happen. Our keycards randomly stopped working on our second day. We were booked in for two nights. We were able to get them fixed, but it was a bit annoying to have them stop working. The second morning the alarm clock in the room went off at 6am. Neither myself or husband set it and it didn't go off the morning before. I guess someone came into the room to set it? That was a bit unnerving and annoying because neither of us could sleep after that. The hotel staff we'd interacted with had been friendly and neither of us said a peep during our stay so I don't understand why anyone would do that?? I also didn't really appreciate seeing the American flag on the awning at the entrance given the current political threats. Being a hotel in Canada right now, that should be removed, in my opinion.

Outstanding stay!

As Hilton Diamond, Marriot Bonvoy Platinum and a Centurion card holder the choice of hotels in London were unlimited. I was in London couple of weeks back and naturally i chose Double tree a Hilton brand due to my loyalty status. This review is not about my stay at Double tree or why i migrated but about my stay at The Park. Initially i was skeptical but then after reading the reviews my wife decided to book 4 rooms. Check in was very smooth, we got early check in which was bonus as we got there quite early. I don't remember the name of the lady who checked us in but she was very accommodating and amazing. We booked meeting room for three days, thanks to Crisha, she made all the arrangements Rooms were very comfortable with everything one could ask for. Continental Breakfast was more than continental with boiled eggs, croissants, assorted cheese, cold cuts, bagels, yogurt and assorted pastries. Thank you Maureen for your outstanding service! Location is great, right in the middle of the town surrounded by restaurants. Underground parking is a blessings during winter. Thanks' to Ryan, guest service manager for parking discount and looking after our stay. We will be travelling to London quite often, in fact we are heading there before the end of the month. The park Hotel London will be our regular hotel.
