Booked this hotel on business trip together with 3 colleagues. Upon arrival received very unfriendly reception at the front desk. The gentlemen clearly did not feel like it. Had asked for 3 rooms on the same floor but could not ! After putting our stuff in the room we had a drink in the bar, also there a very unfriendly waiter who did not feel like it. Understood why there was almost no one there. A simple order could not be taken and we got the wrong drinks. And after 12 drinks including a couple of regular colas we had to pay Eur 189. Hotel room was clean and good but not special for Eur 180 per night! The next morning I have 4 rooms paid and the cost in the bar total Eur 900 and oh yes also had to pay Eur 25 for the car! Because we had to leave early I asked if the cost of breakfast could perhaps be deducted because we did not use eh no that can not be reported by again an unfriendly lady! Therefore once but never again in this hotel!

If you do not like Chinese style or Chinese food (smells) do not go there. It’s a business hotel in the outskirts of Brussels very convenient if you have to go or come from the airport. I had an upgrade at arrival to a very large and comfortable room. Pillows can me of different softness for accommodating all preferences. Breakfast not so good. Not sure I will return.

This hotel is outside the centre of Brussels. It is actually nearer the airport than the centre. It is close to the St Luc hospital and 7minute walk from the Alma metro station. It is very easy to use the metro to get you to the city centre. I was surprised by the poor reviews on tripadvisor which were completely different to my experience. Reception was highly efficient and was staffed by 3 persons all the time. The person who served me was Belgian. The room was great and had everything you could want, including iron and ironing board, safe, kettle, coffee machine, mini refrigerator, bottles of water etc. The shower was excellent. Breakfast was first class with a bigger selection than you would usually see. There is an omelette/egg station where they are cooked to order, there is a chinese section as well as what you will find in most 4/5 star European hotels. Most of the clientele at breakfast time were Chinese. I had lunch one day in the other Chinese restaurant and although I was the only person in the restaurant that time, the food was excellent and freshly cooked. Overall this is an excellent hotel with everything you would want but bear in mind its location when booking.

Reception does not speak a single word of Flemish/Dutch. Expressing my amazimenet, the reply was: "How many languages do you speak? I am French. Do you speak all the languages of the world?" Rarely ahve I been so rudely been addressed and certainly never in an international hotel.

Lovely clean hotel and food was nice, especially breakfast which had a good variety of food. The main thing for me was finding a staff member. Trying to order and to pay, I always had to get reception staff to find the severs. For a 5 star I would have expected the staff to be available at all times.
