Great family holiday

We have just enjoyed our first visit to the Stanglwirt and spent seven days in this beautiful hotel. It was a unique experience and despite rainy weather there was always plenty to do. We had three children with us including two teens and they were very happy in the amazing pool complex. The hotel is immaculately clean and we could not fault the staff. The restaurants had delicious food and we loved the view of the cow stalls. The hotel made my husband’s birthday very special and even baked him a cake. We loved our time at the Stanglwirt and only wish we could have had some more sunshine!

Their booking system is the crapiest I've experienced. They scattered us (we were three families) throughout the whole hotel and placed our teenage daughters in a completely different part of the hotel. Plus, the hotel is a HUGE maze/ sports complex. it has zero charm and some rooms (like ours) will stare into a huge grass wall, with a sound wall of tennis balls being hit constantly. There is nothing serene or relaxing about this place.
Unwinding in the Alpine Air

My wife and I visited on a recent trip through Austria and found it the perfect place to unwind. But that's not all. It's the perfect nature getaway, just a short trip from Vienna. This luxury eco-resort with rustic-style rooms has been family run since 1772 and they are personally involved onsite at all times. We spent at lot of time unwinding at the spa; there are five saunas at three steam baths,with relaxing treatments at the top of our list. Of course you can't visit this postcard-perfect mountain retreat without seeing the famous white Lippizaner horses, which have a rich history to go along with the resort's.

So happy my friends and I found such a delightful spot all the way from LA! 🤩 The rooms, amenities, spa, and were beyond comfortable… luxurious is a better word. Plus the access to nature … what a fabulous way to enjoy Austria! I also enjoyed being able to maintain a healthy lifestyle whilst traveling thanks to the pool and courts. And the food! I already miss it!🥲🥰

I stayed at Stanglwirt with my 14 year old son for 5 days in early August and we had the most amazing time. Fantastic restaurants and impeccable service from the moment w arrived. In particular, the breakfast selection was incredible. The resort amenities were among the best I've experienced, and my son is already asking when we're going back! This was really a unique and special stay for us, and I'd highly recommend to anyone considering visiting Austria!
