We only stayed this trip for 2 nights, and all was excellent..... The staff couldn't be more accommodting, and we thank you for that.. Once question I did have was, I went up to New York to go to NYU Langone, our son is Chairman their, and he suggested I ask for the NYU discount, I did and they said, there wasn't any discount... Our son has had many meetings there, with many people, especially when he did his Men's Health Seminars, so, if there is a discount, please apply a credit.... thank you again, your hotel does things right.

The room was clean, comfortable and beautiful. The bed was very comfortable and pillows were fluffy and comfortable. They offer services such as facials and massage. The property is well maintained and beautiful. Amply free parking and valet service.

This is not a 4 star hotel. Either their historical legacy or money gets them this title. I have stayed in nicer 2 and 3 star hotels. Horrible experience from start to finish and overall truly dingy. Would never recommend to anyone and will plan my next business trip at another hotel. They made me put a personal credit card down for the room even though I had a corporate card that booked it and was paid for. After being exhausted, arguing, and having a ton of work to do I gave them my card and they told. me to resolve it and talk to my work and find out what went wrong.Took multiple trips to the front desk to resolve. Had a weird experience with multiple staff members. Pool was locked the one time I tried to use it. Got staff and told them it looks like someone's painting inside so it's likely closed and they're like "no it shouldn't be the manager will come let you in" he goes down only to be told it is indeed closed for maintanence. He Just walked away sensing my disappointment and muttered "sorry" as he walked up the stairs. Had a staff member turn all the lights off around me while n the gym and stare at the pool and then me in a weird manner before leaving. Room was dirty and and not nice. Cheap towels, cheap bedding. Couldn't order from the restaurant in the. hotel despite the QR codes all over the room prompting you to order. Truly a disaster and again representative of a 2 star hotel. Picture attache dis just one example, weird dirty vent in my literal shower?

Outdated, cold, unfriendly and overcrowded. Worst hotel experience in years. Pillows were unraveling and beds looked dirty. Staff was fake and unfriendly. Overcrowded with corporate travelers. They say the are pet friendly yet asked if my dog was a service animal during check in.

The Garden City Hotel was great! I went to Long Island on a business trip for a small conference, and everything was well done. The room was comfortable, and the restaurants had excellent service. I usually have espresso in the mornings, and the King Bar was open for a breakfast buffet. At our small conference, we used the King Bar and the Red Salt Room, and they were both up to par.
