Palmaia is the best relaxation getaway you could ask for! The first time was just my husband and I, and the second time we returned with 24 friends- we knew it was the perfect place to share and everyone would love it- they did. All the amenities are top notch, it’s breathtaking & exquisitely unique, the food is so fresh & delicious, the classes are fabulous, the spa is ABSOLUTELY DIVINE, & the customer service is wonderful. Some specific thank you’s to the amazing staff: The truly fantastic Nomadic Guide Oscar Sanchez. The incredibly talented artist Iva & sound healer Ram. At the Bar & Charly’s- Danny, Enrique, Abraham, Argue, & Alfredo. At Su Casa & Mar de Olivo- Ismael, Sergio, Luis, Garcia, Jasmine, Chris, & Miguel. At the Spa: Magdalena, Erika, & Gustavo. And at the Front Desk & Drivers: Eli, Ivan, Jos, & Raul. Thank you Palmaia for another incredible stay! And thank you for providing a beautiful experience, space to heal, sustainable resort, & an elevated place for vegans.

My partner and I had one of the most magical and meaningful trips at Palmaia, The House of Aia. The resort is stunning - we felt like we were surrounded by a green screen. The interior design is exquisite, and the attention to detail is impeccable. The food is even better than advertised, for vegans, vegetarians, and meat-eaters alike. UME was our favorite (thank you Sergio for you outstanding service!). Most notably, the staff and service were what took our experience to the next level. As a guest, you are given a Nomadic Guide (or two!) who are there virtually any hour of the day to take care of anything you need. Kasandra greeted us every morning with contagious positive energy, the day's schedule of activities, thoughtful recommendations, and proactive service. We were so sad to have to say goodbye to her after our magical 4 days. The activities are all well-curated and meaningful, led by authentic and passionate teachers. One of our favorite spots at the House of Aia was the Eolo Beach Bar. The vibes and ambience were second to none, and we already miss our buddy Enrique who took exceptional care of us throughout our stay. Finally, my partner and I purchased the Couples Ritual/Massage package at the Atlantis Spa. It was truly an unforgettable experience that brought us even closer together. The House of Aia will always be incredibly special to us and we can't wait to return.

I was a little skeptical of all the great reviews and articles I've read on this resort but Palmaia actually lived up to the hype and I will be telling all my friends and family to go there! What stood out the most for me was the genuine and authentic friendliness and courteousness of ALL the staff. I expected some would be better than others and some not so much but really, everyone was super helpful and gracious. That is truly exceptional. Bravo, Palmaia! Overall, the resort grounds and rooms are beautiful and well designed. The jungle foliage all around is amazing. The beds were very comfortable and the dual showers in the 2 Queen room was so smart! No waiting for a shower when you're 2 ladies trying to get ready for dinner! It's the little touches like this that really stand out and show that they really put some thought into the details. The availability of tons of bikes for cruising around the property was also wonderful to have as we were able to get a little exercise in the process. And being a short person, I really appreciated that they had smaller bikes for kids also! ;) Oh and the golf cart-like mini shuttles that you can call anytime if you want to ride rather than walk or bike! The plant based food was mostly very good - my friend and I both LOVED the Yakimeshi Herushi rice bowl at Ume (much tastier than it sounds!). The only dish I really didn't care for and sent back was the Pasta E Fagioli (too sweet!) at Mar de Olivo which we felt was the weakest of all their restaurants. I especially loved that according to the website they use 80% organic, which is super important to me as I eat 100% organic at home. The cocktails were also very tasty across each of the restaurant venues. We enjoyed the classes: yoga, meditation, watercolor painting, gong bath, whole body movement. And we saw that they are currently building just past the entrance tunnel, next to a tennis court both a padel court and a pickleball court, but sigh, I guess it's the resort next door, not part of Palmaia. The massage/facial combo we each got were very nice although my right scapula area was sore for days from the slightly too firm pressure but that's likely on me for wanting the stress knots released. The one piece of feedback I would give to management is this: The website is way overdone with flowery marketing verbiage that confuses more than clarifies! It's a turnoff and makes people not understand and/or trust what the resort is all about. Please consider a simpler approach to attract a wider group of visitors as currently it is only attractive to hardcore wellness fanatics. I will be back with others in tow as this was a lovely experience overall that I would definitely like to have again!

We spent seven unforgettable days at Palmaia The House of Aia for our honeymoon, and it was everything we could have hoped for and more. This place feels different from the moment you arrive. It is calm, beautiful, and deeply intentional, the kind of place that lets you slow down, breathe, and truly connect with yourself and each other. We are so grateful to the wonderful team who made our stay so special. Eduardo, Jaime, Dany, and Sergio were incredible at every meal, making sure my dietary needs were cared for and always going the extra mile with kindness. The allergen friendly dishes, served in their own distinctive bowls, were a thoughtful touch and the food here, especially the creations from the chef artists and Charlie Tacos, was unforgettable. Gloria and Crystal welcomed us like family, always warm and genuine. Raul and Oscar made every drive feel easy and fun, a chance to chat and laugh. Kassandra and Fernanda, the amazing nomadic guides, made sure everything ran smoothly and helped us feel completely taken care of throughout the trip. The holistic artists brought something truly unique to our stay. From yoga to sound rituals, every session felt personal and grounding. It was a gift to be guided by people so passionate about what they do. Palmaia gave us a honeymoon we will never forget. It is a place where you can rest, reconnect, and experience kindness and care in every moment. We left feeling lighter, happier, and deeply thankful to everyone who made it possible.

This is my second time to this wonderful oasis, first being in Jan this year. I am not someone who prefers to stay at all inclusive resorts. I typically stay at an Airbnb so I can cook for myself and explore. Palmaïa is unlike anywhere I have ever stayed in terms of its energy and offerings. The location is absolutely stunning for starters. I enjoy all of the classes they have - I could call out all of the instructors by name here if I remembered them all because they are consistently fantastic. The food is impressive and healthy. Also the spa cannot be missed - shoutout to Erika (reiki), LuLu (massage), Martha and Ruben! The entire team creates an amazing experience and it cannot be missed. The nomadic guides are like your own personalized concierge that truly go above beyond to ensure you have the experience you are seeking. This visit both Kasandra and Fernanda were such a joy. No detail was missed and they were so kind.
