Signature eatery Mezcal is known for modern Mexican cuisine and top-notch tequilas, while Marea is the kind of place where lazy lunches often drift into sunset drinks and surf-and-turf dinners. For a quick snack, stop by Paletas, a charming market.
Mezcal – With sleek lines and indoor-outdoor dining, Mezcal presents a fresh take on traditional Mexican cuisine. At breakfast, try the house-made granola and huevos motuleños. In the evening, order smoky suckling pig and shrimp with wasabi guacamole.
Marea by Day – Boasting panoramic views of Santa Maria Bay, Marea is a breezy dining spot serving up Baja-inspired ceviches, salads, seafood, tacos, burritos, and burgers. Try the signature Marea Burger — lobster, shrimp, crab, and avocado with chipotle aioli — served with an ice-cold beer or cocktail.
Marea by Night – After sunset, head to Marea for creative cocktails and relaxed yet refined cuisine. On the menu are dry-aged meats and freshly caught seafood. Wish I had known these things before deciding on Montage.

SOOOO LOUD!!! Huge construction going on directly next door. Hammering into large rocks sends pulsing, loud echoes throughout the resort. Nowhere to hide, and it is consistent from 9- 4. Kind of takes away the peacefulness of the place. Also, be aware that the beach front is public and fills up with what seems like hundreds of umbrellas throughout the day. The pictures show an empty, open beach... not at all the case. Also, the sand is not soft and comfortable, more like little white pebbles that are uncomfortable to walk on. Finally, the food and cocktails are not that memorable (we went to three of the restaurants and found them all to be just ok.. the best food was surprisingly the poolside lunch orders). These are things that I wish I had known before deciding which resort to go to!

Montage Los Cabos was truly a dream! My husband and I visited for our 15th wedding anniversary and the entire experience was beyond perfect! We had an ocean view king room with a plunge pool. If you're on the fence about the plunge pool, do it! The bathroom was amazing with the indoor & outdoor shower. Every single employee was so nice and made us feel like celebrities. We didn't encounter one problem within the 4 days we were there. The pool, restaurants, fitness center, everything was very clean and comfortable. The cocktail making class was a great experience! Everything we ate was phenomenal! We can't wait to go back!!

But what left the deepest impression on us was the service. Every single person we encountered struck the perfect balance: warm, professional, respectful, and never intrusive. It’s rare to feel both cared for and completely at ease on vacation, and your team nailed it. A heartfelt thank you especially to Anaiza and Alejandra — they were exceptional. Their kindness and attention made us feel like absolute royalty. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary, and after this incredible stay, we’ve decided to make this a yearly tradition. Beyond Expectations – A Perfect Stay at Montage Los Cabos!

I travel frequently and have stayed at many luxury resorts, but Montage Los Cabos has completely blown me away. I visited over the July 4th weekend, which was busy, but the level of service, the breathtaking setting, and the attention to detail made this trip unforgettable. Arrival & First Impressions From the moment I arrived, the service was impeccable. Diego, my host upon arrival, immediately set the tone with a warm welcome. Hugo, my driver from the airport, gave me a comfortable and pleasant ride with a great introduction to the resort. Josimar handled my check-in seamlessly, providing me with a beautiful room that offered the privacy and relaxation I was craving. The welcome treats were another highlight – the guacamole served upon check-in was hands-down the BEST guacamole I’ve ever had (and I’ve had a lot of guacamole in my life!). Lewis was so kind and brought refreshing welcome drinks, making me feel instantly at home. Exceptional Hosts Special recognition goes to Lewis and Alan, who truly made my stay exceptional. They handled every detail, constantly checked in with me via text, and ensured I was beyond satisfied from start to finish. This level of personalized service is rare and deeply appreciated. Dining Highlights The food at Montage is outstanding: Marea: The Baja fish tacos were fresh and flavorful, and the ceviche was some of the best I’ve ever had. Carlos provided great dinner service, and Eduardo was wonderful during lunch. Mezcal (Breakfast & Dinner): Breakfast here was a "wow" moment – everything was fresh and beautifully prepared. The coconut cold brew was probably the best coffee I’ve ever had at any hotel. For dinner, Constanza made me the best margarita I’ve ever had, and Oscar, our waiter, provided VIP-level service with such professionalism. Guadalupe had the most incredible energy and made every meal enjoyable. And the ice cream popsicles? The best, best, BEST I’ve ever tasted in my life – mouthwatering and unforgettable! The 4th of July BBQ was a little taste of America – fun, warm, and welcoming, just like a backyard barbecue with family and friends (which is hard to pull off in a hotel!). The food was beyond incredible, and the pastries were phenomenal. Pool & Beach The pool was extremely crowded due to the holiday weekend, so I didn’t enjoy it as much as I hoped. (Also, a small note: the ping pong table is too close to the chairs, which makes it less relaxing.) However, I found pure serenity at the beach and in the privacy of my room, which offered the peace and quiet I needed. Special mention to the wonderful pool and beach staff – Israel, Uriel, and Inocente – who provided attentive and friendly service despite how busy it was. In fact, everyone at this hotel provides a consistently high level of service, which is what makes Montage so exceptional. Concierge Shantal, the concierge, was incredible and gave me excellent recommendations that elevated my trip. Final Thoughts Even with the holiday crowds, Montage Los Cabos exceeded every expectation I had – and I have very high standards when traveling. The staff truly makes this resort world-class, and the attention to detail is unmatched. I left feeling pampered, relaxed, and already planning my next visit. Actually… don’t book this hotel. I’d rather keep it my little secret.

The best experience we have ever had from friendly staff and beautiful area to welcome committee with drinks and cold towels much needed for the hot weather. You can enjoy your stay using the spa beach pool and restaurants it’s extremely relaxing and comfortable. The food is very delicious 😋 and top notch highly recommended for relaxing and enjoying your time
