The best place to unwind and breath. Once again, an incredible stay in our favorite suite. Wonderful environment. Spacious suite with a luxurious bath suite and dressing area. Everyone, everyone making our stay better everyday. We love IPC and cannot wait to return to St. Michael’s paradise-IPC! Pursers Pub was also wonderful-inventive, delis food and cocktails and wine. Super bartenders and staff

A beautiful facility and the staff is friendly and helpful from the moment you arrive until you leave. The Pursers Bar is nice and the bartenders were friendly and helpful from. The Stars restaurant serves good food, but service is inconsistent, both at Brea and dinner.

We stayed at the Inn at Perry Cabin for our anniversary and had high expectations given its five-star reputation. Overall, the experience was a bit mixed. It was a nice surprise to find a sweet anniversary treat waiting in our room—a thoughtful touch that we appreciated. We booked a couple’s massage at the spa and had dinner at STARS. The spa facilities, particularly the lockers and steam room, felt dated and limited. The massage itself was just okay—despite asking for more pressure, it felt more like light rubbing than a therapeutic massage. Dinner at STARS was lovely, and we were warmly wished a happy anniversary. The food was enjoyable, and the ambiance matched the occasion. The grounds of the property were beautiful and serene, which added to the charm. However, the most disappointing part of our stay was the bed. It creaked with every movement and felt like a standard spring mattress—not at all what you’d expect from a luxury hotel. We didn’t sleep well, which made the massage feel even more wasted. For the price point, the comfort and service didn’t fully meet expectations. It’s a beautiful setting, but the experience left us unsure if we’d return.

We booked two nights in July but only stayed one night. We had been to the property when it was run by Belmond and sadly the property is not what it used to be. We were graciously upgraded to a junior suite which was appreciated. The room was very nice but bathroom was showing wear and tear. After being at the hotel for 2 hours we received a text that the pool was going to be closed the following day for maintenance. As the temperature the next day was going to be in the high 80s and we were planning to relax at the pool —we departed a day early. I understand that maintenance issues happen but guests should have been offered something to offset the surprise of the pool being closed. We had dinner at the restaurant which was good but not great and the restaurant for July was surprisingly empty. We also went bike riding and the bicycles were falling apart and mostly broken. This used to be a stunning property . You can tell from the lobby which used to be charming and now has no furniture in the sitting rooms - that no money is being spent on a property now owned by private equity . The property was fairly empty and not at all what it used to be. Hopefully property will be flipped to a new owner . Staying away until property finds a new owner- what a pity.
