Gabbi at the front desk is the most wonderful woman I know!!! I’ve been staying at The Dominick for months now while staying in SoHo, for both work and pleasure. Gabbi has always treated me very well and has made sure every single stay is 5 star. She even made sure my birthday was one to remember, and went above and beyond!

Rooms were clean and comfortable. Loved that there was a doorman to help with my bags. Everyone was super nice and accommodating to my various needs. Location was convenient: TJs and Starbucks across the street, Color Factory across the street if you need to do a team/family activity. Dominique Ansel Bakery is further down to get a cronut or other tasty pastries, and C/E subway is close by.

We really like the Dominick Hotel - second time we picked it for a weekend stay in New York City and again we didn’t regret it. Great location in particular (well positioned to explore on foot the West Village, SoHo, Tribeca…), fantastic views of the NYC skyline (both Downtown and Midtown), comfortable rooms, nice feeling/atmosphere (cosy reception), stylish, very good restaurant (Vestry), outdoor terrace and swimming pool (albeit not very big - also opens only from 9am in the morning), very helpful concierge (with great local recommendations)… The big drawback was the lifts - out of 4 lifts one was not working and on top of that the software managing the lifts doesn’t seem to be very efficient… hence the waiting times for the lifts could be pretty long (at “rush hours”).

Lovely small property, very good service and comfortable rooms. Nice small spa and pool area too. Enjoyed my stay overall, but the elevators take forever and some don’t operate properly. Budget an extra 10-15 minutes on every excursion away from the hotel to get to or from your room.
