Originally a 17th century palace turned Claretian monastery, DOM is an abbreviation of "Deo Optimo Maximo," a Latin inscription found on the church adjacent to the property. Its entire restoration was undertaken by Italian architect, Antonio Girardi, who artfully blended design elements within the hotel’s interiors. The original exposed brick walls and coffered, wooden beam ceilings were preserved and serve as the perfect backdrop to handmade furnishings by Italian master craftsmen and an eclectic collection of photographs.
