What construction?

We were pre-warned that there would be construction on the north end of the property but we never saw or heard any of it til we actually started exploring. The Tower rooms are absolutely elegant with no detail overlooked. My favorite was the ocean views from the balcony, room and huge bathtub. The customer service was A++. This was our 3rd staycation here and we will definitely be back soon.
Beautiful Rooms, Lacking Resort Feel

The rooms are outstanding! Beautiful, comfortable and modern with amazing views. However, the value does not seem to be there for the price paid. Did not feel like the resort experience we were looking for. Service seems disorganized although everyone was very friendly. Hard to swallow the resort and valet fees after the high price paid per night. Maybe after all the construction is done, the value will be there.
Highly recommend for a special getaway!

We had an exceptional stay at the Surf & Sand Resort in Laguna Beach. From the moment we arrived, Destiny made our visit more convenient by allowing us an early check-in. The turn-down service each evening was a lovely touch—complete with fresh towels and chocolate. A special shoutout to Kevin and Maxine, who went above and beyond to help us find birthday candles for my wife’s celebration when I’d forgotten them! The resort itself is stunning. The pool and hot tub are relaxing, with direct and easy access to the beach. Our room was clean, luxurious, and had a balcony view so beautiful it felt like we were on a cruise ship. Breakfast via room service was exquisite, complete with white tablecloth presentation, and the courtyard ambiance was enhanced by live music from a talented guitar playing singer. The location is perfect, with great restaurants just steps away. While it’s definitely on the pricier side, the impeccable service and attention to detail made it well worth it. Every staff member we encountered was kind, helpful, and welcoming.

Spur of the moment decision to spend the night here while transiting L.A. to San Diego. Showed up without properly executing the reservation but instead of being turned away a young man named Kevin patiently dealt with us and got us a room. Rarely does one find such a competent and diplomatic employee as this gentleman. As for the hotel, it is right on the beach and provides a majestic view of any sunset. In short it is a top notch hotel and worthy competitor of Ritz-Carlton or Four Seasons. Its main restaurant is very nice as well. Overall, a bit pricey but this is California, and on balance a fair trade.

Where to start. There are so many great things to say from Allie and Mike upon checking in to nick kevin Chris and Simon in valet. Tiffany Ashley Jeremy by the poolside Checking in with Ken. The comfortability is second to none I can’t recommend this hotel more. To be right over the waves of the ocean and watching surfers. Can’t wait till next year.
