Centrally located in Ohio State University's campus close to downtown Columbus, The Blackwell Inn and Pfahl Conference Center offers fine dining, meeting and event space, and modern accommodations for visiting families, academics, and business travelers. Its public and meeting areas create space for discussion, knowledge-sharing, and networking, from the relaxed fireside bar to the high-spec Executive Boardroom and expansive Grand Ballroom. Dine at two restaurants, and enjoy discounted access to OSU's state-of-the-art sports facilities.
Make use of the hotel’s complimentary private car service, which will take you anywhere within a three-mile radius, and visit the bohemian Short North district, full of art galleries, quirky shops, pubs, and nightclubs.
The 151 thoughtfully designed guestrooms and suites offer bright and contemporary spaces. Large, well-lit desks provide ample room to work, while Keurig coffee makers deliver the perfect morning cup. Relax in a deep, comfortable bed with plump pillows, catch up on the news with a complimentary newspaper, or watch your favorite movie on our 50’ televisions.
To secure a table at the best restaurant in town, or search out the best martini in Columbus, talk to the friendly concierge. For work that can't wait, the well-equipped business center is open 24 hours a day.
The hotel offers two on-site dining outlets. Bistro 2110 overlooks the historic Ohio Stadium, and serves a blend of American, European, and Asian cuisine, while the Lobby Lounge specializes in relaxed dining and drinks.
Get active at The Blackwell Inn and Pfahl Conference Center, with an on-site gym and access to the university’s excellent sports facilities. Work out in one of the RPAC center's four gyms, get competitive during a game of squash or racquetball, practice your stroke in the lap pool, or relax in the leisure spa and sauna. For live sports, you can cheer on university teams at a number of campus arenas, including Ohio Stadium, home to the Ohio State Buckeyes. The stadium is also a major concert venue.
As the meeting point of two rivers, Columbus puts nature at your doorstep. The Olentangy Trail offers a riverside route to the heart of downtown, where you will find the Scioto Mile, with acres of parkland and trails along the Scioto River. Both are perfect for cycling and jogging. One of Columbus's most charming neighborhoods — and a popular destination for authentic bratwurst and schnitzel — is the German Village, but for the best nightlife head to Short North, where the streets are lined with bars, restaurants, and art galleries.
Situated on the Fisher College of Business Campus within The Ohio State University, The Blackwell Inn and Pfahl Conference Center is an ideal place to stay if you are attending a function at the conference center, catching an Ohio State Buckeyes game, visiting a student, or visiting the college. It is within easy walking distance of Ohio Stadium, the OSU Ice Rink, and Mirror Lake, and just five miles from downtown Columbus.

We came to visit family so the only thing that we did at the hotel was sleep and we slept well. We had a good view of the stadium. Unfortunately we didn’t get an opportunity to eat there or visit the lounge. We did a few pictures around the hotel outside and at the stadium. This is a very nice hotel that I would recommend.

Comfortable beds and clean rooms. Front desk needs to improve and create processes to improve the customer experience.

We have stayed here multiple times for concerts at the Schott. It's always clean and always comfy and the staff is great. Walking distance from just about anything I could ever need and only a short drive from Kroger if I can't find what I need elsewhere.

When visiting Columbus, OH we always stay at the Blackwell because of its central location at OSU. The hotel is always clean, front desk always professional and nice. Our room was top tier. We will be back.
