In the evening, take in your glorious surroundings with an aperitif on the terrace of L’Accademia restaurant.

At Hotel Angleterre, choose a style that suits you, with accommodations spread across four buildings, each with its own identity weaving respectively through the total 75 guestrooms and suites. Accommodations in the Florissant building are traditional and cozy, while the Angleterre and Lutetia buildings contrast their historic façades with interiors that are as elegant as they are contemporary. In the more modern Longchamp building, you come upon luxuriously large bedrooms, many with terraces overlooking the garden or the lake.
The hotel’s friendly, professional staff makes itself available for all your needs, and as a guest of the hotel, you have complimentary use of the beautiful spa at The Château d’Ouchy.
Highly regarded L’Accademia serves you well, whether you are looking for an Italian fine dining experience or simply a laid-back bistro in which to take in a breezy afternoon or evening. The eatery’s terrace, known as La Terrasse, also makes for a sublime, enchanting spot to enjoy a meal or a drink.
Work out at the hotel’s gym, featuring state-of-the-art equipment, vaulted ceilings, and a unique atmosphere, and then dive into the hotel’s heated outdoor pool, surrounded by an elegant garden setting and typically open from May to September. At The Château d’Ouchy, a wellness center free for guests of the hotel, revitalize your body and soul in the sauna or hammam.
Explore your greater surroundings and take in culture at the Elysée Museum, the Olympic Museum, or the Roman Museum. Take a steamship across Lake Geneva and marvel at the breathtaking views while filling up your camera roll. Make your way to the terraced vineyards of Lavaux, an UNESCO World Heritage Site. Experience an artsy day at the Fondation Pierre Gianadda. If vacationing in the winter, head to the nearby ski slopes, less than an hour from the hotel. In the summer, take out one of the hotel’s bicycles and tour the picturesque area.
On Ouchy’s dreamy lakefront, Hotel Angleterre is a breezy stroll to the picturesque port it overlooks. Wander the port and find ferries leaving for destinations across Lake Geneva, or explore the greater Lausanne area, with its superb range of shops and eateries as well as the headquarters for the International Olympic Committee.

Perfect three night stay at the end of July. Location is excellent, just steps away from the Lake and a couple of minutes walk to the metro. Then its only a few stops to the centre of Lausanne or the train station. The hotel give you a free public transport pass for the duration of your stay which also gives a discount in some of the museums. The room was lovely, a good size with wooden beams and high windows with a view of the lake. Very comfortable with a safe deposit box, fridge, and complimentary mini-bar, tea and coffee. Bathroom was also a good size. Very nice walk-in shower with a separate bath and good range of toiletries. Very nice, big, soft towels! Pool area is lovely. Very comfortable sunbeds and big towels. It was quite quiet most of the time we were there (although the weather wasn't always brilliant). On good weather days the hotel restaurant sometimes offer a drinks service at the pool. And a huge thank you to all of the hotel team, from the front desk to the restaurant to the super-efficient and smiley housekeeping team! We loved everything and would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hotel Angleterre. Upon arrival, we received a complimentary upgrade, which we greatly appreciated. The swimming pool was fully equipped with all the necessary amenities. Check-in and check-out were smooth and pleasant.

We stayed here for two nights, winding down a long European road trip. It made a great place to stop. Situated right on the edge of the lake, the setting could hardly be more attractive, and the lovely, immaculately tidy grounds feel cool and calming. Staff are pleasant and professional as you'd expect. Our room on the fourth floor was great, tucked up in the eaves of the building with a great view, though the lift only goes up to floor three so be warned, you'll have to get your bags up a flight of stairs to the top. The room was big and comfortable with a great bed and very good pillows, tastefully presented with a very appealing chaise long. Shower was excellent. The breakfast is superb, though bear in mind you'll pay Swiss prices. We wished we had booked an extra day so we could have enjoyed the grounds and pool area, but we wanted to make the most of Lausanne (a lovely city), so maybe that's one for next time. We'd definitely stay here again.
