Disappointing for a Five-Star Hotel We stayed for three nights in a suite at this hotel – at a rate of €1,000 per night – and were thoroughly disappointed. For this price and a hotel claiming to be five-star, the standard was completely unacceptable. On the positive side, the hotel is in a great location and offers convenient parking, including an underground garage. Unfortunately, that’s where the positives end. The suite was noticeably outdated, with tired furnishings and in urgent need of renovation. However, the biggest issue was the lack of cleanliness – both in the room and throughout the public areas. Dusty sofas and tables were placed in the hallways near the elevators, and the dust was present throughout the hotel. This is simply a no-go for a property in this category. Housekeeping was poor: beds were made and the bathroom was superficially wiped, but the room was never truly clean. Particularly unacceptable was the fact that, in a suite for three guests, we only had two cups, two glasses, and two balcony chairs. Even worse, dirty dishes – including used coffee cups from breakfast and empty glasses – were not cleared away during our entire four-day stay. We had to live with dirty dishes in our room for the whole time. That is completely unacceptable at this price point. Service overall was severely lacking. Staff presence was minimal. Occasionally, there was a doorman available to help with luggage, but otherwise we barely saw any hotel staff during our entire stay. For a five-star property, this lack of attention and hospitality is simply not acceptable. Our experience in the hotel restaurant further confirmed the overall impression. After waiting 15 minutes, we had to ask for menus ourselves. The starter arrived 20 minutes later, and the main course another 30 minutes after that – all while the restaurant was only about half full, with around 15 guests. Conclusion: All show, no substance. This hotel was absolutely not worth the €1,000 per night. The quality of the furnishings, cleanliness, service, and attention to detail are more in line with a three-star property. For a hotel that markets itself as five-star, the experience was extremely disappointing.

luxurious old / art deco style hotel. kind and good reception service. spacious room, and quiet. beds were confortable. facilities nice and spacious bathroom. breakfast offer is great and various choices proposed but rather expensive. parking is proposed and convenient. location is excellent, access to the beach lovely. a minus point is the water temperature did not remain constant despite any flow chosen, fluctuating from cold to warm, whatever the schedule in the day. A pity for such price and global offer.

Great place, nice location at the sea, easy parking if you arrive by car. Excellent restaurants (Breakers, La Terrasse) with an attentive service. Delicious breakfast served in the morning. Clean rooms with all amenities needed. Dogs welcome under certain restrictions.
