Guests staying at The Wigwam have a seemingly endless supply of activities located right outside the resort doors. Home to Arizona’s only 54-hole golf course, The Wigwam has a rich history of golf legacy, dating back to 1930. Three 18-hole championship golf courses, two of which were designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., welcome golf enthusiasts to a challenging afternoon on the fairways. Eight concrete tennis courts and a full-size Premier Rubber Flexi Stadium court with seating for 200 welcome tennis stars to an exciting destination complete with equipment rental and showering facilities. The family-friendly outdoor pool and Jacuzzi is an opportune destination for hours of fun in the sun while the Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa provides guests the opportunity to escape from the stresses of everyday life and relax in the tranquil pampering of a full-service spa.
Life outside The Wigwam grounds is equally as thrilling, with nearby museums such as the Challenger Space Center Arizona, Children's Museum of Phoenix, or Desert Botanical Gardens. Spend an afternoon horseback riding through the Estrella Regional Park or test the boundaries at a 13,000 square foot indoor rock climbing gym. The opportunities for excitement and adventure are endless when staying at the Wigwam resort.
