Can I still make a booking as a Member to earn my points and benefits?
Yes, during the outage, you will still be able to log in to your member account during the booking process for access to exclusive Member Rates and to associate your Member Number to the reservation.
What improvements are being made?
The I Prefer Hotel Rewards Program is moving to a new technology platform that will allow for quicker processing and future program enhancements.
Will the I Prefer Program and website be different after this update?
The program will be the same. There is a slight difference to some sections on the member dashboard, but the updates should be easy to navigate in managing your account.
When will the service outage take place?
The outage will begin on December 1, 2019. We expect the member dashboard to be available again after December 5, 2019.
Why can’t I access the member dashboard during this time?
Because we are completely changing platforms, all account data will be unavailable on IPrefer.com and the I Prefer App during the update window to minimize errors in the transition. We apologize for this inconvenience.
What should I do if I have a question about my account during the outage?

What should I do if I was planning to use a Reward Certificate for travel during the outage?
During the outage, you will not have access to redeeming, viewing, or printing Reward Certificates on either IPrefer.com or the I Prefer App. If you have travel planned during this service period, please print the certificates you intend to use at the property on or before November 29, 2019, or ensure that you have received the certificate number via email.
Why do I need to reset my password after the outage?
All Members will need to reset their account password on IPrefer.com once the system update has completed for security purposes.
How do I reset my password after the outage?
All Members will receive an email once the member dashboard is accessible again. Please click on the link in the email at your earliest convenience to request your unique set password link so that you may continue accessing your benefits and account information for future travel.
