Choose a spot at the Lounge Bar to curl up with a cup of tea or a cocktail. Order a light lunch of gnocchetti with pesto and green beans or snack on a board of cured meats and cheeses accompanied by tomato and chicken liver bruschetta. Wander around and take in the history of the hotel, as well as that of wider Italy — the hall that hosts breakfast features portraits of men like Giuseppe Garibaldi who helped unite Italy in the 19th century. Venture up to the rooftop terrace for charming views of the city and marvel at your beautiful surroundings.
Head outside of Bernini Palace Hotel and you will be in the center of the city, home to many masterpieces of Renaissance art and architecture such as Botticelli’s iconic Birth of Venus in the Uffizi Gallery. Admire the crenelated tower of the Palazzo Vecchio as you walk over to Piazza della Signoria, the main square, or head down to the banks of the Arno for a riverside stroll. The concierge can assist you in making arrangements for everything from truffle hunting and wine tastings to river cruises and Renaissance tours — as well as the best shops, restaurants, and bars in the area.
Bernini Palace Hotel’s central location, directly opposite the Palazzo Vecchio and Palazzo Gondi, puts you in cozy proximity to Florence’s Renaissance landmarks. Piazza della Signoria is just a short walk from the hotel, and the banks of the river Arno are nearby.

We were warmly greeted by Matteo on arrival, who got us into our room early. He gave us some great advice about where to visit and booked us into one of the best restaurants! From the consierge, bar staff and cleaning staff, every part of our trip felt VIP. We were treated to little gifts throughout our stay and felt very looked after. The hotel is lavish and the breakfast room is a real beauty. My wife and I couldnt have asked for more - The Bernini Palace is ideally located to get the most out a visit to Florence... We would happily return. Thank you everyone.

The Hotel Palace Bernini was very nice. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel is situated in a perfect area of Florence. The staff was friendly and nice. The concierge Lorenzo was superb. He always went out of his way to greet us each time he saw us. He also recommended a wonderful Church where we attended Mass and also a market which we went to. He also scheduled a driver for a day trip to Lucca.

The hotel was lovely and very attentive. We liked the hotel very much but found two things that put us off. Sadly, the concierge required cash only for tickets to museums we wanted to see, then charged a 9 Euro handling fee per person. We should have booked our tickets online. The restaurant recommendation was awful - over priced and the food inedible.

Traveled to Italy as part of a land tour package with Tauck. This was the second hotel of our tour. The bar was set very high with our first hotel in Venice, the Hotel Gabrielli, so we had great expectations. The Bernini hotel was much more old fashioned and dated, but was beautiful in an old-world elegant style. The rooms were quite small but very nicely decorated. Several in our tour group reported excessive street level noice in their room at night, but we did not experience that. The lobby bar was nice and the service was attentive. The breakfast buffet was just OK....nothing spectacular. The hotel is in a fantastic location with easy walking distance to all noteworthy sites. The service at the bar was very good, but overall the concierge staff did not seem as attentive as expected for a 5 star hotel. Interesting note....the elevators shut very quickly and appear to not have motion sensors when people are entering or leaving. Multiple times, the elevators nearly shut on us while getting on and off. It was a little scary. Overall, I just did not feel this hotel lived up to a 5 Star rating.
