Tee Off On The Course Or Partake In An Annual Festival

Golf - A cool coastal breeze and blue horizons make Club de Golf Terramar a golfer’s paradise just a 25-minute walk from Sitges’ city center. While the 3rd and 4th holes offer the best views of the Balearic Sea, the back nine offers panoramas of the nearby hills and estates. Spend an afternoon teeing off on the 18-hole course, a few hours practicing your drive on the range, or lounge by the club’s pools.

Cau Ferrat Museum - The museum’s traditional Catalonian style architecture and seaside location make it picture worthy on its own. Step inside and you’ll find the preserved home of Spain’s own Santiago Rusiñol, painter, poet, and playwright. Along with Rusiñol’s work, you’ll find some of Picasso’s early works, El Greco’s pieces, religious mosaics, and Roman glasswork. English tours are available and well worth booking.

Festivals - From Jazz festivals to Sitges’ Gay Pride parade, this small Spanish town hosts a number of events each year. LGBT travelers can make their pilgrimage to Sitges during the end of February to partake in the town’s Carnival—a world recognized celebration. Other events include Sitges’ ‘Fiesta Major’ which includes a parade, fireworks displays, and a flood of nearly 200,000 visitors.
