The hotel offers plenty of options for relaxation, with an outdoor infinity pool, health club, and sauna and steam room available. Children can splash in their own special pool, or burn off energy at the indoor or outdoor play areas. There are also common areas to enjoy a tea or coffee, and seating in the hotel’s landscaped outdoor area near the impressive fountains. Salalah city offers so much to see and do, starting with:

Salalah Gardens Mall: This is the first shopping mall in the city, and also the largest, with a huge selection of retail, dining, and entertainment options just steps from the hotel. With its traditional Omani architecture and landscaped gardens, it’s worth a visit. International brands can be found here, as well as high street fashion. Don’t miss the souq area for traditional Omani crafts, jewelry, antiques, and sweets.

Sultan Qaboos Mosque: Named after the Sultan of Oman, this is the city’s largest mosque and a landmark of modern design. Beautiful details like a crystal chandelier hanging from an intricately carved 36 m / 118 ft dome, and a 20 ton handwoven carpet can be found here. Non-Muslims can tour the interior outside of prayer times.

Khareef Festival: Held during the Khareef (South East Monsoon) season, which occurs in July and August, the festival hosts regional music and dance performances, sports, events, and exhibitions. This is a very popular time to visit Salalah, as the surroundings are transformed into a lush green landscape. For the best experience of this special season, plan excursions to the Sahalnoot Valley or Ittin Mountain.
