Award-Winning Dining at The Imperial New Delhi
The Imperial boasts six different restaurants, several of which have won prestigious awards. Guests will find that each restaurant has its own distinct menu offerings, décor, and personality. The hotel also features a French-style pastry shop and two bars.
- The Spice Route, named by Condé Nast Traveler as one of the world’s top ten restaurants, serves inspired Southeast Asian cuisine. Dining at the restaurant is a much a visual experience as a culinary one. Colorful murals, sculpted pillars, and fascinating antiques vividly depict the cultures, art, and religions of the lands of the historic spice route.
- San Gimignano takes its name and inspiration from the famous medieval hilltop town in Italy’s Tuscany region. Offerings include dishes such as stuffed calamari, Parmesan cheese soup, and roasted lamb in black olive crust. The restaurant has won numerous awards, including TripAdvisor’s Excellence Award for 2014.
- 1911 is an informal yet elegant all-day dining spot with a wide-ranging menu that reflects New Delhi’s history as a melting pot of peoples and cultures. 1911’s inviting Veranda Lounge overlooks the hotel’s broad lawn.
- Nostalgia at 1911 Brasserie , serves European cuisine with a pronounced French accent. Large sepia-tinted photographs of royalty, musicians, and politicians from the early and mid-20th century line the walls, and live jazz and piano music fill the air.
