Michelin Starred Mediterranean—Japanese Fusion
The Hotel Wellington offers a variety of places where guests can enjoy exceptional food or relax over drinks.
The hotel’s most famous dining spot is Kabuki Wellington, which has held a Michelin star since 2009. Chef Ricardo Sanz and his team use fresh, top-quality ingredients to prepare Mediterranean-accented Japanese cuisine, including sushi and sashimi. The dessert menu, created by one of Spain’s top pastry chefs, includes such tempting offerings as rich hot chocolate with crispy churros.
At the airy, modern Goizeko Wellington, chefs Jesús Santos and Abel Martelloti offer gourmet Basque cuisine, including both traditional and innovative dishes. The extensive wine list includes many options from the Basque country.
La Llave de Oro is a casual restaurant that serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. It also offers a variety of freshly baked artisanal cakes and pastries. Diners can enjoy their meals al fresco at the restaurant’s street-side terrace.
The buffet-style Wellington Brunch, served on Sundays in the hotel’s Claridge Room, is a sumptuous affair featuring meat, fish, and vegetable dishes as well as salads, sausages, and more.
At the lavishly decorated English Bar-Hall, guests can unwind and converse while sipping drinks and enjoying tapas and tortas. The bar offers live piano music every night.
