Explore Colorado Springs Or Test Your Swing On The Green

Garden of the Gods - Head to the legendary red rocks at the Garden of the Gods for unmatched views, challenging trails, and arguably the best photo ops in Colorado Springs. With more than 15 miles of winding trails, rocky terrains, and high rise flats, you can make your exploration as hard or as easy as you’d like. Each formation is named after its own unique personality; Kissing Camels is the perfect place for a picnic and Balanced Rock is a must-see phenomena attracting flocks of crowds daily. Guided tours of the grounds are available, and more daring travelers can even stop by for rock climbing (classes also available).

Broadmoor Golf Club - Set in the Cheyenne Mountain foothills, sprawling greens are the defining feature of these three iconic courses; East, West, and Mountain. Ranked among the best in the world, the links were designed by the legends: Arnold Palmer, Donald Ross, Robert Trent Jones, Sr., and Nicklaus Design. The East Course has played host to several major events — including the 1959 U.S. Amateur when Jack Nicklaus secured his first of many major wins — and is a regular in Golf Digest’s five-star ratings. Meanwhile, the West Course is known for its steep angles, and the Mountain Course is playable for all skills levels including beginners.

Olympic Training Center - Tour the U.S. Olympic Complex home of the USA Swimming and USA Shooting national headquarters. The sprawling training center is where Olympians stay, train, and prepare for competition, and features two swimming pools, a shooting range, and several fitness centers. Resident athletes include boxers, gymnasts, figure skaters, and wrestlers. Reserve a VIP tour for sneak peeks and behind-the-scenes action, or embark on a 45-minute walking tour through campus. If you’re lucky, you’ll catch some training sessions (and if you’re really lucky, an athlete will be your tour guide).
