Golf, Tennis, and More at this Upscale Colorado Springs Resort
The Garden of the Gods Club and Resort is a paradise for golfers. It boasts a 27-hole golf course called Kissing Camels, which takes its name from a famous rock formation in the Garden of the Gods. Challenging and beautifully landscaped, the course has in the past hosted the Senior Women’s Amateur Tournament.
Golfers can also take advantage of a driving range, practice facilities, and a pro shop as well as personalized instruction from the resort’s skilled golf professionals.
Tennis is another popular activity at the Garden of the Gods Club and Resort. The resort features 11 outdoor tennis courts — each of which has a fatigue-reducing Plexicushion surface — and two indoor courts. Other offerings include a full-service tennis shop and a full-time USPTA-certified tennis pro who is available for lessons and instruction.
The resort’s Recreation Center, open during the summer months, offers a junior-Olympic-size swimming pool, wading pools, a spray garden, a basketball and soccer court, a children’s playground, locker rooms, and more.
At the new Sports Clubs, guests can work out on various types of exercise equipment and take fitness classes such as yoga, Zumba dance, spinning, and Pilates.
The resort’s full-service spa features steam rooms, a hot tub, a solarium, and a heated outdoor infinity pool. Spa visitors can enjoy massages, reflexology, stone therapy, detox treatments, facial treatments, and more.
In addition to all of these resort activities, guests can visit the Garden of the Gods, which lies next to the resort; drive to the summit of Pikes Peak; travel to the summit on the Pikes Peak Cog Railway; and visit some of the other excellent activities in the Colorado Springs area, which include:
